    “Stop, Ellie,” Herman swiftly stepped forward, blocking her path.


    “Bitch, you spent the night with that sponsor, Mr. Thorpe. Found yourself a different guy tonight?” Herman looked at Kaiden from head to toe arrogantly. “Hey, you’ve got a mask on. Are you part of our circle? Who are you? Ellie, you hook up with another man. Does Mr. Thorpe know about this?”


    Kaiden wasn’t just wearing a mask; he was also standing tall at nearly 6 feet. No one could link the man before them to the sponsor who usually sat in a wheelchair.


    Herman’s face turned as red as a tomato, and the smell of alcohol hit Ellie as soon as he approached, making her feel nauseous.


    “Herman, my personal life is none of your business. Please get out of the way!” Ellie huffed.


    “Are you feeling guilty?” Herman smiled arrogantly. “Ellie, Ie from a wealthy and influential family. It’s your privilege that I requested you to sleep with me for a few nights. I showed you respect, but you gave me shit.”


    Kaiden’s expression grew darker.
