    “Who’s nervous now?” she challenged.


    Kaiden, momentarily taken aback, quickly responded. His kiss was overpowering, leaving no room for her to withdraw.


    The heat from his body was intense, each kiss sending a shiver through her.

    Her hand carelessly knocked his expensive watch to the floor. “ng!” The sound echoed in the room.


    The moment her fingers brushed Kaiden’s skin, Ellie recoiled as if she had received an electric shock.


    She hesitated to touch him again, especially after sensing his… intensity.

    Staring at her, Kaiden’s handsome face turned serious as he realized she was there to fulfill their agreement, not out of desire. He wanted to continue. After all, Ellie was legally his wife.
