Chapter 75

    ?Chapter 75:

The president had already deemed Demi undesirable. His word was final, rendering Demi’s status irrelevant.

The Gordon family held no sway over GT Group.

“Haha!” Ellie’sughter echoed from the doorway of the legal department.

Caught off guard, everyone turned to her as she apologized halfheartedly, “Sorry. I couldn’t help myself.”

Demi, already fuming, demanded, “Ellie, what brings you here?”

“I’m here to sign a contract.” Ellie smiled coyly.

“What contract?” Demi’s anxiety spiked. At that moment, a legal staff member approached Ellie. “Miss Gordon, your contract is ready. Please, this way.”

Ellie, ncing back at Demi, said, “I’m signing the contract that not even a three-million-dor discount could prevent.”

“How… how could this be?” Demi eximed in disbelief. “Didn’t GT Group already choose someone else as their contract stylist?”

But nobody responded to her queries.

Demi was on the brink of losing herposure, hit by two setbacks in quick session.

Despite her best efforts, not only did she fail to undermine Ellie, but she also lost the endorsement.

“Ellie, you have to stop right there. You…”

“Demi, let it go. Sign the termination agreement,” her agent advised, gripping her arm. There was no turning back now. Any emotional outburst from Demi would only worsen their situation, especially given GT Group’s influence.

Meanwhile, in the office, Ellie reviewed the contract carefully. Satisfied that it was straightforward, she signed it.

The legal department representative then informed her, “Miss Gordon, there’s an additional requirement. The new co-stylist must meet our president.”

“This wasn’t a requirement before.” Ellie raised an eyebrow, feeling something was off.

The representative offered ame exnation. “Due to recentplications, we’ve implemented this new rule.”

Ellie, aware of who upied the president’s office on the thirty-eighth floor, was skeptical but chose not to challenge it.

    “Please follow me, Ms. Gordon.”

After a brief pause, Ellieplied. Upon reaching the thirty-eighth floor, Bruce greeted Ellie. The legal department staff excused himself.

“Mrs. Thorpe, did the contract signing go smoothly?” Bruce inquired as he led the way.

“Yes, thank you. The timing was perfect,” Ellie responded, suspecting the encounter with Demi wasn’t mere coincidence. She savored the opportunity to have thestugh over Demi’s misfortune.

Bruce, acting on Kaiden’s orders, hadn’t anticipated this oue. But he was instructed not to disclose Kaiden’s involvement to Ellie.

He had to ept the credit.

“Mr. Thorpe, Mrs. Thorpe has arrived,” Bruce announced, holding the door open for Ellie. He then quietly closed it behind her as she entered. Kaiden, seated in his executive leather chair, didn’t look up until he finished signing a document.
