?Chapter 173:
“And what kind of person is she, exactly?” Maggie retorted sharply. “Lately, she’s been surrounded by men. There’s the guy from her university and some college student… She’s nothing but a tramp!”
Maggie’s usation caused Belinda to narrow her eyes almost reflexively.
If her memory served her right, she hadn’t interacted with Maggie recently.
It made sense that Maggie knew Darren. They had once met at Anthony’s birthday celebration.
However, she had never met Fred.
He was meant to be a stranger to her.
But then it clicked.
Maggie was Kristopher’s sister and had always been fond of Cathy. Surely, one of them had mentioned Fred to her.
With this realization, Belinda inhaled sharply, fixing Maggie with a frosty gaze. “I didn’t realize you were so invested in my personal life.”
“Of course, I am,” Maggie retorted. “I have to keep an eye on you to ensure you don’t disgrace my brother…”
“Since you’re so concerned about me, could you tell me when I first met Darren? Or when I got to know that college student? The baby I lost recently was three months along. What do you think I was up to three and a half months ago, and where were those two men?”
These questions threw Maggie for a loop.
She stood there, shocked for a moment before retorting in frustration, “How should I know? I can’t read minds. How am I supposed to know which man you were seeing three and a half months ago? My only concern is for my brother!”
“Is that so?”

Belinda’s reply was icy as she nced disdainfully at Kristopher. “If you care about your brother so much, surely you know where he was and what he was doing three and a half months ago, right?”<fn2315> Content originallyes from Find1Novel</fn2315>
Maggie’s face turned pale as she stumbled over her words.
“You don’t know?” Unyielding, Belinda tightened her grip on Anthony’s hand and responded sharply, “Then let me enlighten you. Three and a half months ago, Mr. Cox was away on a business trip on an ind. He fell ill with a cold and fever, and he called me. I braved a typhoon to take a ship to the ind and spent the entire week there nursing him back to health. In the rush of the emergency, I forgot to bring condoms, and that’s how I ended up pregnant.”
She locked eyes with Maggie, her gaze icy and firm. “How dare you use me of being unfaithful when you don’t know the first thing about what happened? Do you want me to show you the ferry tickets and the receipts from the ind?”
Maggie’splexion drained of color in an instant.
Observing her reaction, Anthony’s temper began to cool. d in an oxygen mask, he snorted. “I’ve already said that Belinda isn’t that sort of woman!”
Maggie bit her lip, her eyes darting involuntarily toward Allen.
Allen’s gaze was icy, filled with disappointment.
Desperate not to appear weak in front of him, Maggie steeled herself and pressed on. “Just because she wasn’t caught with those two, it doesn’t mean she wouldn’t hook up with the driver or anyone else on the ind…”
