Upon hearing the voice, Xylia froze suddenly.

She turned around and saw Tessa standing in the lobby of Sadler Group with Connor and Sonny.
She furrowed her brow slightly, not knowing what they were doing there.
Tessa and her twopanions were also surprised to see Xylia there.
However, Tessa was only briefly surprised before she began to malign Xylia using her customary tactics.
On the other hand, when Connor saw Xylia, a sh of delight appeared in his eyes.
However, when he saw her radiant expression, his face instantly darkened.
He was thinking, ‘No wonder there has been no news of hertely; it turns out she has been hiding in Norhill. She’s covered in designer brands–who knows which guy she’s hooked up with this time to get those perks.
Tessa looked at Xylia from head to toe, finally revealing a hint of mockery.
She affectionately took Connor’s hand and spoke to him with a smile. “Connor, you were worried your ex–wife would have a hard time after leaving you, but it turns out she’s doing even better than before. And look at those designer clothes–who knows who bought them for her?”
After Xylia joined the Sadler family, every item in her wardrobe was thetest seasonal fashion, scoured from major luxury boutiques by the four Sadler brothers.
All the Sadler boys made purchases at the same time, piling clothes in the cloakroom until they covered the entire wall. Xylia persuaded them for a long time before they finally stopped buying more.
Now, Xylia was wearing the most popr high–end luxury brand apparel of the season.
She was in a pale yellow camisole maxi dress paired with a white, ice silk long–sleeved cardigan, softly curled long hair cascading smoothly down her back–her entire presence exuded a sense of gentleness and liveliness.
Sonny, however, stared wide–eyed at Xylia, without uttering a word.
With what Tessa said, Connor’s gaze toward Xylia grew even more hostile. “Xylia, you’re really shameless!”

She ignored them and lowered her head to send a message to Kaden, stating that she had been stopped downstairs.
Connor became even more furious when he saw that Xylia was ignoring him.
He let out a coldugh. “Why are you still pretending to be so superior now?”
As he spoke, Connor’s gaze swept across the opulent hall, and he began to speak in a retaliatory manner. “The Sadler Group is not a ce for cheap women like you who always try to seduce men, and Mr. Sadler is someonepletely out of your league. You’d be wise to recognize your ce and back off.”
Connor’s remarks had be increasingly unpleasant.
The hall was crowded with people, including employees of Sadler Group as well as partners who hade to discuss cooperation with thepany.
Upon noticing the noise at the reception desk, everyone instinctively paused to watch themotion.
Xylia felt it was inappropriate to make a scene there, so she replied calmly, “If that’s all you wanna say, please leave at once. And if you’re thinking of cooperating with Sadler Group, just give up on that idea.”
Kaden had already explicitly stated that he would not cooperate with Ford Group.
Moreover, now that Xylia held shares in the Sadler Group, she was also qualified to propose refusing to associate with Connor.
Connor sneered. “Who do you think you are? What gives you the right to interfere in Sadler Group’s partnership?”
Xylia said tly, “Mr. Ford, you haven’t forgotten that when you were in Jupiton, Mr. Sadler explicitly told you there would be no further cooperation with the Ford Group, have you?”
Connor’splexion grew even more livid.
He was indeed not there to seek cooperation with the Sadler Group; instead, he apanied Tessa topete for an endorsement opportunity.
Although Tessa encountered resistance from Kaden during their previous meeting, she had yet to receive any response indicating a refusal to cooperate, which led her to believe that, during theirst interaction at the restaurant, Kaden was not genuinely angry with them.

Tessa believed that Kaden’s anger that day was merely due to the presence of outsiders and his mistaken assumption that they were bullying Xylia; as a result, he only put on a show and confronted them in that manner.
She firmly believed that there remained an opportunity for her to coborate with the Sadler
Group.
She was being overly optimistic.
Tessa let out a derisiveugh. “You don’t seriously believe that when Mr. Sadler spoke harshly to usst time, it was actually to help you, do you?”
Before they realized it, a group of people had gathered around them.
Connor continued with cold sarcasm, following Tessa’s remark, “Or do you think that just because Mr. Sadler helped you once, he now sees you differently? Don’t delude yourself. As a woman of loose morals, even vagrants wouldn’t want you, let alone Mr. Sadler.”
Seeing Xylia act so shamelessly, Connor was so furious he could hardly contain himself.
It seemed as though back at the Ford family, he had made Xylia endure considerable hardship.
Seeing more and more people gather around, Xylia didn’t want to be the center of attention again.
She looked at Connor and the other two coldly. “My life is not for you to interfere with, Connor. Before you judge me, you should first reflect on what you have done to me.”
Connor felt his hair stand on end under Xylia’s gaze, wondering if she already knew what he had done to her.
Upon seeing Connor being reprimanded, Sonny took a step forward with a cold expression, pointed at Xylia, and said icily, “You even abandoned me, your own son; you’re not a good person. Dad was right–you can’t do anything, and even homeless people look down on you!”
Two days ago, Sonny was still missing Xylia.
After leaving the hospital, he was constantly cared for by Tessa. He felt as though the caring Tessa from before had returned, which once again dispelled his idealized perception of Xylia.
Now, seeing Xylia being embarrassed in public, he couldn’t help but feel as if he was being disgraced too.
He once again assumed his previously arrogant demeanor andunched into a bout of

Even though Sonny was her own flesh and blood, since he did not understand gratitude, she naturally severed the mother–son bond entirely, cutting it off at the root.
Just as Xylia was about to speak, the receptionist could no longer remain silent.
He directly rushed out and gave Xylia a push. “If you want to make a fuss, do it outside. Stop being an eyesore here! I’ve seen enough of your lot. Mr. Sadler would never be interested in you. Get out immediately!”
The receptionist kept urging Xylia, and Xylia frowned as she looked at him. “Why are you expelling only me? They were the ones who started this!”
The young man sneered. “Mr. Ford is here to discuss a business partnership. How could he possibly bepared to a woman like you, who resorts to ttery? Are you leaving or not? If you refuse, I will call security.”
He just now overheard a bit and thus gained a general understanding that Connor and the other two had distinguished identities.
To retain the partner, he naturally turned his attention to Xylia.
Connor looked coldly at Xylia. “People should have self–awareness. Someone like you–a housewife—what ability do you have to pull off wearing clothes like these after just a month, unless you took a shortcut!”
As soon as he finished speaking, whispers crept in from all around. “She looks quite attractive, but I never expected she’d be the kind of person who sleeps her way to the top.”
Another one whispered, “It’s precisely because she’s beautiful that she relies on her looks. Unfortunately, she’s barking up the wrong tree–our Mr. Sadler is famously known for his integrity and most averse to women who throw themselves at him.”
Xylia trembled with anger. When the receptionist raised his hand to push her again, she grabbed
