Chapter 859 - 859 Confronting The Darkness

Pavilion Master opened her mouth, but she couldn''t find words to speak.

She could sense the icy killing intent radiating from me.

This killing intent waspletely pure, bone-chilling.

"Oh yeah, Lord Pavilion Master, do you know where I might find a Mystic Realm Master?" I suddenly recalled something.

"Mystic Realm Master?" Pavilion Master''s brows creased.

"Typically, only huge forces and organizations have Mystic Realm Masters since they''re so scarce." Pavilion Master shook her head.

"Just as I figured." I let out a soft sigh.

If I had realized this before, I wouldn''t have killed Leigh Simpson so quickly.

At minimum, I should have brought her to see the Spiritual Spring of Green Moon Vi. There''s an ownerless Mystic Realm concealed there.

"I''ll need to depend on the Capital City Martial Arts Association, then." I mused silently.

Once I capture Garcia Coleman, I''ll be able to bargain.

And the connection between Jensen Coleman and the Capital City Martial Arts Association''s senior officials certainly isn''t as weak as Ms. Zackary''s, so they should be capable of getting what we need.

For the following few days, I didn''t leave the Divine Alchemist Pavilion.

Exactly as Pavilion Master had said, it was year''s end, and the major forces didn''t strike again.

Days passed quickly, and suddenly, only three days remained until the New Year.

One morning, I went to the Pavilion Master Building.

"Lord Pavilion Master, I''ve made up my mind to visit the Walters family in the northwest." I said.

Pavilion Master spoke seriously, "Even though the Walters family isn''t very famous, their power is quite impressive since they''re an ancient aristocratic family."

I sighed, "Well, I can''t locate any other targets right now; otherwise, I wouldn''t have decided to target the Walters family."

Right then, Pavilion Master appeared to have remembered something.

"I recall that at year''s end, the purple-robed members of the Capital City Martial Arts Association would gather for a conference." Pavilion Master said quietly.

My eyebrows lifted as I asked, "Are you hinting that I should go to the Capital City Martial Arts Association?"

"I didn''t say that." Pavilion Master shrugged.

Iughed heartily, "I get it. I''ll head to Capital City immediately."

After bidding farewell to the Pavilion Master, I went straight to Capital City.

Compared to the purple-robed members, the Walters family''s power was obviously much weaker.

After all, the purple robes represent the Capital City Martial Arts Association''s highest visible fighting strength.

    ——

At this moment, in front of the Capital City Martial Arts Association''s entrance, numerous cars were parked.

These cars were of different types and luxury levels.

And the owners of these vehicles were the purple-robed members serving the Capital City Martial Arts Association.

Many purple-robed members had gathered at the entrance, greeting each other while waiting for the Association''s announcement.

    About ten minutester,

    Phoebe Billy emerged from inside.

"Senior officials have summoned you to the meeting room," Phoebe announced.

Hearing his words, the faces of the many purple-robed members disyed both surprise and excitement.

"Senior officials? They''re the ones calling the meeting this time?" A purple-robed member eximed.

"Before, it has always been Ms. Zackary; it''s nearly impossible to see the senior officials!"

"This is fantastic! We can finally meet the senior officials!"

Phoebe exined, "Since Garcia Coleman has returned to the Second Secret Realm, this time the meeting will be conducted by the senior officials personally."

"President Billy, please lead us there quickly! We can''t wait any longer!" Over twenty purple-robed members excitedly said together.

Phoebe nodded, turned around, and entered the Martial Arts Association. He led everyone to the senior officials'' meeting room.

The meeting room waspletely dark, with dim light giving the entire room an atmosphere of authority and mystery.

Carefully, the purple-robed members entered the meeting room, their faces clearly disying a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

"Sit down." Phoebe gestured to the huge round table before them.

The round table wasrge enough to seat more than twenty purple-robed members.

Phoebe also took a seat and quietly waited for the senior officials'' arrival.

About half an hourter, soft sounds came from the darkness.

Quickly, Phoebe stood and shouted, "Greetings to the Senior Officials!"

The many purple-robed members hurriedly copied Phoebe and stood up, shouting, "Greetings to the Senior Officials!"

The eight senior officials stayed silent, their forms concealed in the darkness, their real faces impossible to see.

The room fell into a short silence.

After several minutes, one of the senior officials spoke coldly, "We have called the year-end meeting, and there are mainly two things to announce."

"A Martial Saint will be born next year. We assume you all know that by now."

"Once the first Martial Saint is born, there''s bound to be a second and a third!"

"By then, the Capital City Martial Arts Association will do everything possible to cultivate the new generation of Martial Saints! And the new generation of Martial Saints will be chosen from among you."

    The room instantly exploded!

Everyone excitedly shouted, "Thank you, Senior Officials!"

    "Stay quiet," Phoebe said seriously.

Then, a high-level official hidden in the shadows continued, "The Capital City Martial Arts Association must maintain its control in the martial arts world, and no one is permitted to challenge it!"

"Though there were some unexpected incidents this year, by next year, everything wille to an end."

"Yes, next year, it will end. Because your Capital City Martial Arts Association will be destroyed."

Just then, a voice came from outside the door!

Everyone''s expressions changed as they turned to look at the entrance.

They saw a figure walk in casually.

"Having a meeting? Can I join?" I sneered.

"Mason Raymond! This isn''t a ce for you. Get out!" A purple-robed member shouted.

I ignored them and scanned the room, "So this is the high-level meeting room? Tsk, tsk, where are the eight senior officials? Howe I don''t see them?"

"The Senior Officials are incarnations of darkness. How could you possibly see them?" A purple-robed member scolded.

"Incarnations of darkness? Are you fucking in elementary school?" I couldn''t help but curse.

The many purple-robed members were extremely angry, and perhaps because they had the support of the senior officials, their cursing at me didn''t stop.

However, I ignored them and instead looked at the eight empty seats.

"I heard that you senior officials like to hide in the dark. Has anyone ever seen you?" I asked with narrowed eyes.

Phoebe nervously advised, "Mason, what are you trying to do? Leave now before the Senior Officials get angry!"

I didn''t respond, but continued, "I''m curious, how ugly must you be to not dare to show your face? Always hiding in the dark—aren''t you ever curious?"

No one said a word, as they didn''t dare answer this question.

I slowly stood up and sneered, "Today, since I''m here, let me pull back the curtain to see what you eight senior officials look like!"
