Guard 135

    Chapter 135 Amalie

What kind of hell did we step into?

I am pulled from my musing by Juliet yelling again. “Gyms closed,” she shouts.

I turn to find three pack members have entered the gym.

“But we were going to train?“one of the guys whines.

“Tough,” Sean says in a dismissive tone.

The three continue to grumble as they look at Cal and I before they leave.

“Oi,” Juliet shouts, drawing our attention to the two fighting. “If you fight dirty, prepared for dirty

    fighting.”

“That makes no sense,” Sean mutters. “You know George hate’s it when you call him Georgie.”

“Eh, so what,” she smirks. “Okay princess, how muchbat training do you and your wolf have?”

“Um, I have a few years of training from when I was in high school. Beren has never had any training,” I answer the woman as I watch the two wolves fight.

It’s mesmerizing as they fight. It looks like a dance as they dodge each other. The smaller, gray wolf rolls across the floor and nips at the ck one’s back leg. Alec pops to his paws and continues to press against the bigger one.

George’s wolf jumps back to try and avoid Alec. He stumbles and rolls across the floor. Alec continues to press his advantage.

“There,” Cal tells me as he points to George.

I try to figure out what he is talking about.

Alec charges towards the prone wolf. And then I see it. George uses his back legs to kick Alec away from him. The ck wolf is on his paws and across the room in a few seconds. George has his jaws

    around Alec’s throat.

    “Pinned,” Sean shouts.

George’s ck wolf steps back/and then trots over to us. He rubs against Sean before looking at us.

Transform,” Sean huffs as he pats his best friend’s head.

George looks up and snuffs out a sigh. He then starts to transform. A very

    , and very naked man

    Chapter 135 Amalle

    stands in front of me.

    I look at the ceiling.

“Oh, this is going to be fun,” Juliet cackles. “Princess, you are going to have to get over your modesty here. We’re werewolves. We see naked bodies every day.”

“I haven’t really been able to transform or watch people transform,” I huff as I still look at the ceiling.

“We’ll have to start from the beginning,” Alec says as he transforms back.

    “You staying?” George asks.

“I trust you, but not enough to protect my mate, sorry,” Cal says.

“Don’t me you,” Sean says. “Alright Luna, let’s transform and see what we are dealing with.”

I nod my head and take off my shirt. I continue to stare at the ceiling as get undressed. ‘You good to start training?‘ I ask Beren as I take off thest of my clothes.

‘I’ve been ready for years,‘ Beren says as she takes control and we shift.

    Some one lets out

whistle at the sight of us.

    “Damn,” Alec says.

    “White wolf,” Juliet whistles.

“Alec, start her off,” Sean orders.

“Drills,” Juliet orders as well as shees to her feet.

“Alright Luna, let’s see what you got,” Alec smirks before he transforms himself.

Beren nods her head and trots after the brown gray wolf. Alec leads us to the edge of the gym. When Beren stands beside him, he takes off running. Beren is confused as she runs after him. It takes us by surprise when he turns on a dime and starts back towards the starting line.

Beren skids slightly as she slows and turns. We take off back towards the starting line. Alec is already turning at the starting line. We pause and watch. Alec races past us and to the center court line. He then races past us again. Alec’s wolf gives us a smug look at us as he runs to the starting line.

“What on earth is he doing?’ Beren demands as she watches Alec run.

    Chapter 135 Amalie

    ‘Suicides,‘ I sigh in defeat.

‘What in the name of the goddess is that?‘ Beren demands in shock and horror.

‘We start at one line, then run to the Free Throw line, then back to the beginning, then to half–court, beginning, the far Free Throw line, back to the beginning, then to the far line at the end of the gym, and back to the beginning,‘ I sigh in defeat as I exin the drill. Again, what hell did we step into?

“Get moving princess,” Juliet cackles from the sidelines with way too much excitement.

Cal even looks smug as we nce at him.

Beren huffs but starts running. She slows down as she reaches each line, before she turns and takes off towards the next line. We get lost in the run.

“Faster, princess. This is a drill in being light on your feet and trusting your wolf,” Juliet shouts.

    Beren growls at the insinuation.

“Trust your paws Luna. Trust that you will make the turn without having toe to a stop,” Sean shouts.

‘Use your momentum to turn,‘ Cal encourages me.

Beren nods her head. A n is forming in our mind as we race towards the half–court line. She tries to dig a w into the floor to use the momentum to turn us. Beren is not able to dig her ws deep enough into the floor boards. We go skidding and rolling.

Beren sighs as shees up to her paws. She takes off running again towards the start line. As she nears the line, Beren digs her ws deeply into the floor.

‘Too deep,‘ I yelp as wee to aplete stop and the momentum throws us off our feet.

Beren lets out a growl of frustration as shees to her feet. She takes off running towards the far Free Throw line. We pass by Alec, as he runs in the opposite direction, as he is running suicides with

us.

    ‘Watch his turn,‘ I say.

Beren slows down and to watch. We watch as Alec uses both the front left and back left paws to turn. He puts all of his weight on one paw. Alec uses two paws to turn. The front to use pivot and the back to guide.

Beren takes off towards the Free Throw line. She digs her right ws into the floor to give a purchase in the floor. Our turn is smoother.

    Chapter 135 Amalie

Beren grins in triumph as she takes off towards the start line. This time when we get to the start

line, we don’t go rolling across the floor. It’s not as smooth as Alec made it seem, but it’s better than

    we had been before.
