“Tell me how you’ve been,” Axel said as we walked to his car and he held the door open for me. “I want to hear every detail.”

And every detail was what I told him. I held nothing back.

The drive to the library passed in a blur, and not once did Axel interrupt me. He just let me talk.

“Whew,” he said when I was finally done, and that was when I noticed the car had stopped. I looked out the window to see that we were parked in front of the library. “What an eventful week you’ve had.”

I nodded slowly. “Yeah. It was indeed.”

“Go inside. I’ll find somewhere to park ande find you.”

I looked over at him. “You’re staying with me?”

    He nodded. “Yeah.”

“I spend a lot of time in the library.”

    “Uh–huh.”

    “Won’t you get bored?”

“It’s a library, sweetheart. I’m sure I’ll find something to entertain myself with. And you’re there. I can always just stare at you if I do get bored.”

I rolled my eyes as I stepped out of the car, taking my bag with me as I headed into the library. I returned the books I borrowed, immediately picking new ones.

About twenty minutester, Axel sat beside me, his arm resting on the head of my chair. He stayed silent, just stared at me, but I couldn’t focus with his eyes burning into the side of my face.

I turned to him with a hard re. “I need to focus,” I whispered.

He nodded. “By all means.” But he still kept looking at me.

“You need to stop looking at me.”

    “I don’t want to.”

When I continued to re at him, he sighed, standing up and wandering to who- knows–where. After a while, he came back, sitting with a book in hand. We both got immersed in our reading, not even paying attention to each other.

After about an hour or two, I raised my head from my book, snapping my neck.

“Rosette.” I looked over at Axel, and he waved the book he was reading. “Did you

know that most sirens have red hair?”

I looked down at the book, and it was fiction, about sirens and pirates. I looked back at him. “That’s just fiction, Axel. It’s not real.”

    “Still it’s a fascinating discovery, isn’t it?”

    “No.”

I looked back at my book, but Axel wasn’t done.

“What are you doing?” he asked, resting his chin on his fist and facing me.

    “Some books.”

“Yes, love, I have eyes. What kind of books?”

    “I’m studying for an exam.”

That got his attention, and he sat up, serious. “What exam?”

I mean there was no harm in telling him, right? “I’m trying to get into college.”

When he remained silent, I looked over to see him staring at me with an odd look in his eyes. That got me worried. “Axel?”

“I feel like a proud big brother.”

I groaned, looking away. “Don’t say that. It sounds so weird.”

He leaned in, smirking. “Why? Is it because we know each other’s bodies so well?

More than siblings should ever know?” He leaned in even closer, his lips close to my ears. “Or is it because we’ve made each other sweat and moan? Because we moaned each other’s names as we climaxed?”

His hand went under the table and found my thigh. He rubbed it and made his way up until his hand was in between my legs.

“Axel,” I whispered, holding his hand under the table but I didn’t push it away. “We’re in the library.”

“Hmm,” he purred, his eyes fixed on mine, smirking. “I didn’t notice.” His hand rubbed against me from my pants, and a fire ignited in my lower belly. A low moan slipped out of my lips that I quickly covered with a cough. Axel chuckled, a devilish look entering his eyes. “You might want to be quiet, my gorgeous darling. This space is quite crowded in case you haven’t noticed.”

Oh, Axel was a madman. A madman that I was attracted to against my better judgment. I thought I was smart. Turns out all I just needed was a man with dark blue eyes, and as handsome as sin to convince me I was as stupid as stupid could

be.

We were surrounded by people, with a few people sitting just three chairs away from us, and yet I wanted him to touch me. Stupid as stupid could be.

Axel’s thumb pressed against my clit. Didn’t move, just stayed pressed there.

“So tell me,” he whispered into my ears, sending shivers down my spine, “you want to go to college, eh?”

“Seriously?” I asked with a re. “That’s what you want to talk about right now?”

“Yes,” he answered with an innocent smile.

    “Well, I don’t want to.”

“Then what do you want, sweetheart?” I said nothing, just continued looking at him. “You’ll have to use words. I don’t speak ring females. Tell me what you

    want.”

I released a frustrated breath. “I want you to touch me.”

His grin widened. “That wasn’t so hard.”

His thumb finally moved, rubbing against my clit slowly. His eyes remained on my face, moving from one feature to another. “Do you know how you look when you’re being pleasured? Like a fucking goddess. If you ask for the world right now, I will give it to you. If you want to burn it, I’ll light a match for you and step aside, watching you burn it.”

“Axel,” I whispered, my hand tightening on his. Those were the only words I could muster. He was driving me crazy, with his words, with his hand.

“Hmm? You want me to go harder?”

I nodded and he moved his thumb faster, rubbing my clit. I bit my lips so hard that I tasted blood, but I didn’t stop. I had to stay silent. The thought of being seen, of someone just looking in our direction and seeing what Axel was doing turned me on even more, and I was close to climax. But then Axel stopped, pulling his hand away.

I gasped, looking at him with wide eyes. “Why’d you stop?!”

“Shh,” he said with a chuckle. “I can’t let you cum. You won’t be able to stay silent.”

Damn it, he was right, but knowing that didn’t cool my body down. I needed more. But I just huffed and looked away, adjusting in my seat as I picked up the book but I wasn’t even seeing the pages.

“So you want to go to college?” Axel asked after a while, and I nodded without looking at him. “Why didn’t you tell us?”

I finally turned to him. “So you could do what, exactly? Send me to college?”

He nodded with all seriousness. “Yes.”
