“Oh, well, I know I didn’t let Christian know that I wasing, so I was just hoping to spend

I breathe a sigh of relief. I can handle a couple of hours.
“When do you have to be at your next job?” Christian asks.
“Two days. I didn’t have time to go home, so I just started heading that way and then I remembered you were in this area. So here I am. But if you don’t have time, I totally get it. Workes first.”
“Are you kidding? I’ll make time. If you don’t have to be there for two days, did you want to stay the night?” he asks her.
I’m pretty sure I feel Shane mentally reach into my mind and grab my wolf by the scruff of her neck. Are you fucking kidding me?

Shane sighs. “Listen, I know you like him, but they’re friends. I don’t know if it’s more than that or not, but you don’t even know if he’s your mate, Enya. You can’t go around staking a im on him.”

“That’s different, Enya. She and I agreed that we would be exclusive. Has Christian made that samemitment to you?” he asks.
