    Hugo Hodges put out the cigarette. “Nothing.”

    Admittedly, Hugo Hodges looked incredibly captivating while smoking.


    Every move he made exuded elegance, and even smoking was filled with a sense of mystery.


    Hugo smiled, not saying much. “How did the surgery go?”


    “It was sessful,” Tiana Young said with a heavy sigh of relief.


    Hugo nodded. “That’s good. She should be able to leave the hospital soon.”


    “Yes,” Tiana agreed. “No matter what, thank you. If it weren’t for you, I don’t know what I would have done.”


    “You’ve thanked me many times already. If you really want to show your gratitude, express it with actions.”


    Tiana looked at him, her eyes gleaming with a strange light. “How do you want me to express it?”


    “I’ll tell you after everything is over.” With that, Hugo nced at his watch. “It’s gettingte. I should head


    back.”


    Though reluctant, Tiana knew she couldn’t keep him there forever.

    The entire hospital became busy.

    Hearing her name, Scarlett Adler looked up to see a handsome young man looking at her.

    “You still remember me,” Yale Lowe said with a smile.


    “Of course. Fourth always talks about you at home, saying you haven’t been to school in a while.”

    Watching Scarlett Adler’s back, Yale Lowe frowned slightly.


    In the car, Yale Lowe drove while Scarlett Adler sat beside him.


    “I haven’t seen Fourth in a while. I wonder how she’s doing?” Yale Lowe asked.


    “She’s doing well, just often mentions you,” Scarlett Adler replied honestly.


    “I miss her too,” Yale Lowe said.


    Scarlett Adler smiled, hearing this. “She would be very happy to hear that.”


    “What about you?” Yale Lowe asked.


    “Huh? What?”


    “How have you beentely?”


    “I’m fine.”


    “With a bandaged hand and a sprained ankle?” Yale Lowe raised an eyebrow.


    Scarlett Adler nced down. “It’s… not easy to exin, but it’s nothing serious. I’m okay.”
