    “Scarlett Adler? Who’s that?” the assistant replied.


    Tiana Young took a deep breath. “Did any woman from Rising Sun Tech visit thepany today?”


    “Oh, yes, there was. And old Mr. Hodges also came. I don’t know why, but he seemed to enjoy chatting with

    “I also heard that Scarlett Adler came by as well, and Mr. Hodges Sr. seemed to have a good chat with her.”


    Hearing Scarlett Adler’s name, Hugo Hodges finally stopped what he was doing and looked up at Tiana

    “Scarlett Adler is the granddaughter of my grandfather’s longtime friend. It’s not unusual for us to get along well,” he exined casually.

    “A friend,” Hugo Hodges exined, but it was as good as not exining at all.

    “I met her at the airport. She’s quite cute, so I added her on WeChat.”


    Seeing how engrossed he was in the conversation, Tiana Young couldn’t help but say, “I didn’t know you liked


    kids.”


    Hugo Hodges thought about it seriously. He really didn’t used to like them, but he didn’t know when he


    started to.


    “It’s okay,” he said.


    Seeing that his attention was all on his phone, Tiana Young lowered her gaze. “Alright, then you go ahead


    and get busy. I’ll go do my work.”
