The principal had just been lost in his own thoughts when the sudden voice startled him.
He clutched his chest and took several steps back.
When he saw the stern expression on Grace’s face, he felt a little moreposed.
Who was this woman? He didn’t recall seeing her before.
Her daughter?
Which one? There were two girls involved.
But as far as he remembered, neither of the girls came from particrly outstanding families.
Thinking of that, his expression shifted.
“Ma’am, understand how
“Ma’am, I understand how you feel, but please don’t get so worked up. Your child isn’t the only one trapped in
Grace grew irritated at the principal’s dismissive tone.
Her voice turned colder.
“So, as the principal, where’s your exnation?”
Grace’s tone sharpened. “Then exin how this building copsed. Isn’t this all because of your failure as a principal?”
The principal was momentarily speechless.
“You… what do you know? This was a natural disaster. What does that have to do with the school? Do you even know what you’re saying?”
Grace was even more infuriated by his indifference.
At first, she thought his attitude was just poor.
But now, it was clear that he simply had no sense of responsibility.
“And this is how a principal speaks?”
Grace almostughed out of anger. It looked like this principal needed to be reced.
Clearly, sitting in that position too long had dulled his conscience and made himcent.
The principal looked at Grace, just as arrogant. “Who do you think you are? You don’t get to tell me how to talk.
“Your kid’s not the only one down there. Getting all worked up won’t help–unless you hire your own construction crew.”
Seeing the principal like this, Grace knew there was no use talking to him.
She waved her hand decisively. “Alright, let everyone in. Get to work immediately.
“And by the way, this is my ground now. If you want to stay then stay out of the way and don’t cause trouble.”
The principal froze for a second.
He nced behind Grace at the group of muscr construction workers and swallowed hard.
1/2
He quietly stepped to the side. “Carry on carry on. If there’s anything I can do, just let me know.”
Grace shot him a re and didn’t say another word.
He’d better have the sense to shut up at a time like this.
Otherwise, with her temper, she might really lose control.
People like him needed to be put in their ce.
She might note around often, but that didn’t mean she didn’t love her daughter.
Just because she rarely visited the school, did they think they could bully her child?
Grace fully returned to the powerful force she was back at the corporation, her presencepletely transformed.
Arnold watched from the side, visibly stirred.
Good–he hoped she could keep this momentum going a little longer.
That way, he wouldn’t have to worry about Aurora being bullied anymore.
From now on, she would be a child with a mother who protected her.
The construction team took over the rescue efforts and threw themselves fully into the mission.
Just as everyone was busy searching, another rescue crew joined the effort.
