As long as Anneliese was caught cheating on video, she wouldn’t have to fear the woman backing out of the divorce.
The evidence of her son’s affair in Anneliese’s hands would lose its value.
After all, both had been unfaithful.
She would never allow Anneliese to walk away with that 500 million divorce settlement.
Nor would she have to worry about her son exploding with rage once he learned the divorce had been finalized, or if he refused to let go.
With Jameson’s help, she’d be able to kill several birds with one stone.
A wave of relief washed over Melody as she put on her sunsses, turned around, and strode
away.
Back in Age, Zacharias stepped out of the guest room, where Selina was already waiting in the living room.
She stood there with a smile, handing him his phone.
“You dropped this on the table just now.”
“Thanks.” Zacharias took his phone and checked it immediately, wanting to see if Anneliese had called or texted.
Seeing nothing, he frowned slightly.
Selina chuckled. “Are you missing Anne already? Who knew you were this clingy, Zach?
“She should be on the ne right now. We’ll go pick her up soon, and you’ll see her then. Quit sulking, or I’d feel guilty.”
She leaned in closer, winking mischievously at him.

Zacharias seemed a little awkward as he pocketed his phone. “No, it’s just that Anne hasn’t been answering her calls. She’s such a handful.”
Even as he spoke, he quickened his pace toward the door.
The way he couldn’t wait to get to the airport made Selina scoff.
Jonathan climbed out of the Maybach, his frame tall and imposing as he stood outside Velour.
Two other luxury cars pulled into the lot almost at the same time, parking right next to him.
Their doors opened, and three men, all striking in looks and bearing, got out one after another.
“Why are we meeting here?”
Carter Chevalier, with sharp features that made him look almost androgynous and a dainty mole at the corner of his right eye, gave off a gentle, harmless air as he shut his car door.
Joel pointed toward Jonathan. “Ask him. It was his pick.”
“Velour, huh? Isn’t this practically a modern–day brothel?”
Zane Shayman was a tall, broad–shouldered man.
Dressed in leather tonight, he had an easy, dashing charm to him.
He strode toward Jonathan and threw an arm around his shoulder, twisting his sharp features into an exaggerated wink.
“Jonathan, have you finally given up holding back and decided to confess those feelings you’ve been hiding all this time?”
Jonathan red at him.
“You must’ve been in Age for too long. You swing both ways now, don’t you?”
“Hell no. I’m straight as theye!” Zane protested, frowning. “Also, falsely using awyer is an extra crime! Unless, of course, someone as good–looking as you were willing to bend me
himself.”
“Hand.” Jonathan’s eyes flicked coldly to the hand on his shoulder.

Zane immediately raised it, looking as though he was surrendering.

Jonathan entered the club wordlessly, his long legs moving in steady, confident strides.
The others followed a step behind.
“Why do I feel like he’s here to catch someone cheating? He’s practically burning with anger,” Zane muttered, watching Jonathan’s back.
Joel replied cryptically, “If anything, it’s usually someone else catching him.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Carter lifted a brow.
Something about that sounded loaded.
Joel only chuckled to himself, not daring to say it outright.
Thest time, he’d gotten the impression Jonathan had a peculiar fondness for other men’s
wives.
Velour was usually filled with female clientele. Male guests came too, but they were rare.
For men of Jonathan and his friends‘ status, this was truly a first.
The manager, trembling with nerves, led them into a private room.
Jonathan sat down on the couch, his gaze sweeping over the manager who stood stiffly, waiting
for further instructions.
“Velour is famous for its male escorts, am I right?”
“Those guys? They’re hardly worth mentioning, and definitely not as famous as the four of
you The manager forced a smile, his heart pounding. “But if you’re interested, I’ll get my best men toe by!”
He’d never heard of these four having such quirky preferences.
Even if one of them did, surely not all four?
Or had today’s tycoons grown tired of women and collectively switched tastes?
Joel tossed the lighter he’d been fiddling with onto the table.

“Don’t give us that look. The three of us are perfectly normal. We’re just here to keep him </ipany!”
Not daring to sell out Jonathan, he pointed at Zane, who looked the least proper of the group.
The manager immediately locked onto Zane.
“What’s your type, Mr. Zane? I’ll hook you up with something good.”
