Lc walked slowly toward the inner cell. She could smell blood very thick in the air and another


    pungent smell. that would make your stomach protested, but her mind was too upied with


    something else for her to care about that.


    She took a deep breath before she appeared in front of Ken cell and saw with her own eyes what


    kind of torture that he had gone through. Her heart lurched.


    People always said that the lycan was barbaric and for a moment, she forgot about all of that because


    of the way Hunter treated her, but now she understood what it meant when they said they were


    barbaric.


    Hunter had warned her as well before that she might not like the sight she was seeing, but she was


    simply stubborn and now she had to witness it with her own


    eyes.

    As if he sensed someone, Ken raised his head and when he did so, Lc saw his eyes had been


    gauged out of his sockets, leaving two holes that kept bleeding, it seemed they kept inflicting pain on


    the same spot.

    Both Ken’s hands were shackled to the chain that attached to the wall behind him, so did his ankle,


    he couldn’t move and would forever stand like that.

    But, before she could leave, Ken started to speak. His voice was rough and harsh, it echoed inside

    “Who is there?! I know there is someone there! Who is it?!” Ken sniffed the air, he frowned. He


    couldn’t see anymore, but his other senses worked just fine. “Hunter?” The scent was not right, but he


    knew that he smelled a trace of his scent from whoever this person was.


    Lc took a deep breathe, she tried to calm herself down, though it was not easy at all. She kept


    trembling, but she decided to walk back and have this conversation. She was already here, why not


    continue?


    “It’s not Hunter. It’s me, Lc.” Lc was very grateful that her voice was not trembling like her body,


    she sounded brave.


    “Lc..” Ken tasted the name in his tongue before he guffawed. “You must be


    Hunter’s little bit ch!e.


    The name calling was definitely not necessary. It shouldn’t have hurt Lc, but to know this was her


    own father, who called her like that, there was this difort in


    her heart.


    “Why did you abandon your daughter?” Lc started, she tried to ignore his rude way to address her.

    “I have never abandoned my daughter. She is she is the greatest thing that happened in my life.” Ken


    coughed loudly.


    “I didn’t talk about Grace. I talked about your other daughter that you abandoned years ago. she was


    only a little girl, but you left her to fend for herself. How could you do that?”


    Ken was silent for a while, as if he was trying to retrieve an unpleasant memory. “Who are you?” he


    finally had the decency to ask.


    “You don’t need to know about that, I only wanted to know what the reason. How could a father


    abandon his own flesh and blood and didn’t have a nightmare when he slept at night.”


    “Impossible…” Ken said in whispery tone, he couldn’t believe this at all. “No way.”

    Lc bit her lip, she didn’t know what to feel when she met with Ken. The thought of meeting her


    father one day was already aplicated feeling, let alone having the one that turned into a traitor.


    “So, you are that little bi ch…” Ken grinned. His pain was forgotten for a while, because he found a


    way to torture Hunter. “Hm… I still can remember your face. I should have recognized you right away


    because you are like your mother.”

    Outside of the door, Hunter heard a shrill scream from his woman, this was a bone chilling scream that


    could send shiver down your spine.
