If it was up to him, Ken would have died. Hunter would surely kill him in the worst way possible
without even consulting this with anyone, once they had managed to squeeze all the information out of
his mouth. All he needed to do was to issue an order and everything would be done without him even
raised his finger.
However, this matter was different now because it involved Lc. He was still her father. Her real father
that she didn’t remember she had.
It tickled his conscience if he had to kill Ken without letting Lc knew the truth first. Ken was a
traitor and the punishment suit his crime, but it didn’t sit well with him when Lc was still in the dark
about this fact. He didn’t want to see her sad in the future because she lost her chance to know her
father.
More so, it would put their rtionship in an awkward situation if she learnedter on that he was the
one, who killed her father.
Hunter simply didn’t want Lc to feel deceived, because that was not his intention at all. Therefore, he
needed to talk about this before the execution
happened.
Her feeling about this matter was truly important for him, therefore… if only, by any chance, she wanted
them to be pardoned, Hunter would seriously consider that. He could understand.
Because in the end of the day, not everyone could be crazy enough like him, who was willing to kill his
own father. He how that felt. Even though he did it for a good intention, but he had to live with that fact
for the rest of his life and he didn’t Lc to endure the same feeling.
Hunter could only sigh deeply that this woman would be the death of him… but even so, he was willing
to give it up, since she was the reason why he was alive right now and in the future, she would be the
reason why he was thriving.
“How are you feeling about this?” Hunter repeated his question, as he watched the look on Lc’s face.
He caressed her back in attempt to lift a little bit of pressure
金
and make her felt slightlyfortable. “If the execution happened, it will be me, who killed your father.
Are you fine with that?”

Lc was frowning so hard, Hunter leaned over to kiss the crease between her brows. He didn’t like to
see her in trouble like this. Let alone when she was facing a dilemma like this.
However, he didn’t urge her to make a quick decision. He chose to wait until she

was ready to talk and during that time, he simply caressed her back, as if telling her that it would be
alright for her to take all the time she needed.
Finally, after a long silence, Lc voiced out her opinion. “Can I see him? Did he know about me?”
“Yes and no. You can see him, but I don’t think he knew you are his missing daughter.”
“I don’t think I am missing at all.” Lc was being abandoned, she was not missing. Hunter was only
being very generous with his choice of word. “I was being abandoned.”
Hunter hugged her, because he couldn’t deny that. There was some truth in there and Lc would think
he saw her as a fool if he refuted that.
In the end, the alpha simply held her close to his chest and kiss her forehead. “When do you want to
see him?” Their body fit with each other, as if they were made for one another. If the lycan had a mate
bond, then Hunter mate would be this woman in his arms.
“I want to see him now, is it possible?” Lc asked casually, she didn’t think she could hold it back any
longer and wanted this matter to end immediately.
“Okay. Let’s see him.”
After saying that, the two of them didn’t immediately get up and get dressed, but they simply stayed like
that for another two hours, until Lc had gathered the courage she needed to face the person, who
had thrown her away.
Hunter helped her to get dressed because a woman dress could beplicated, but the main reason
was because he wanted to have an excuse to touch her freely.
Lcughed at his attempt and this made their mood lightened a little bit.
After that, Hunter took her to the dungeon, where they held Ken, Grace and Tania. They would wait
for the execution, but the date had not been settled yet.
The smelly scent of blood and foul smell of the dungeon hit their nose when they walked past the first
security post.
“There is no need to follow us.” Hunter stopped the guard, who woulde with them inside because
whatever conversation Lc would have with her father, it would be a private matter.
The alpha also sent all the guard along the aisle away, to clear this ce from any
disturbance.
“Are you sure, you are okay?” Hunter kept checking on her and tried to find any sign that she couldn’t
face this.
However, Lc handle this like a champion, despite some difort, she looked like she was ready to
face the reality. Hunter couldn’t be more proud than this to have her as his woman, the luna of his pack.
“I am fine. It’s not like he can throw me away again, right?” Lc tried to make a joke, but even for
herself that joke sounded very bitter. “I should stop making a joke. I have a bad sense of humor.”
Hunter chuckled at that. “You are funny even when you are only breathing.”
“Are you trying to mock me?”
“No. You can take that as apliment.”
“How it supposed to sound like apliment?” Lc frowned, but then there was this smile on the
corner of her lips.
“I like your beautiful smile better.”
“You always make me want to smile.”
However, no matter how beautiful and brilliant Lc’s smile earlier and how good Hunter lightened the
mood, everything changed the moment they reached the area where they held Ken.
“I want to go alone.” Lc stood in front of a steel door, where behind it, there were four cells. One of
the cells upied by Ken, her father,
“Are you sure you are going alone?” Hunter wanted to make sure that she would be fine.
Lc thought about it for a while. “Can you stay here?” If she needed him, he would be only a call away
and that was what she needed right now.
“Sure,” Hunter caressed her head gently. “Come out if you thought you couldn’t take it. I will handle the
rest.” He shrugged his shoulder nonchntly, “Or if he annoyed you so much, you can kill him right
away, it’s fine too.”
Lc tiptoed and kissed his check. “I will go now.”

With that, Lc pushed the door open. This steel door felt so heavy, or maybe it
was only in her mind, because in actuality, it was her heart that carried so much weight.
She didn’t know what to expect from this reunion and whether it would make things different.
