She lied to you about being pregnant, and you’re still on her side? I know that you want to be a grandmother more than anything, and Chloe took that dream and spit it back in your face. She doesn’t care about you. She doesn’t care about anyone.”
Madeline let out a long breath, trying to keep calm. “There are no sides in this scenario,” she said. “The three of us are family. We need to look out for each other. It doesn’t matter the mistakes that we’ve made in the past. What matters is right now.”
The three were silent for a few minutes, then Chloe leaned back on her pillows and groaned. “Please, just give me my phone so I can call Ethan,” she begged her mom. “I know that he will be able to straighten all of this out. I don’t need Felix’s help. I don’t need anything except for my future husband.”

That’s why he came to Ld to dredge up something that happened five years ago. Maybe he was excited to be a father, and he feels like your lie took that away from him. Because you deceived him, maybe he is nning on ruining your life just like he thinks you ruined his.”
