As Romina passed by him, she spoke each word clearly: “Some people should cherish what they have. Once you miss it, it’s gone for a lifetime.”
She strode toward the door without looking back.
Joaquin watched her departing figure, the corners of his lips suddenly curving up ever so slightly.
It took him a couple of seconds to realize what she meant by her words.
Did she misunderstand the rtionship between him and Sabrina?
If that’s the case, could this be considered a good thing?
After leaving his CEO office, Romina didn’t leave immediately but instead went to the
restroom.
When she came out, she saw a familiar face reflected in the mirror.
It was Sabrina.
Her eyes were extremely dark, and the way she looked at Romina seemed to carry a certain hatred.
It seemed that Sabrina was in no hurry to leave. Perhaps she had been hiding in some corner, watching Romina walk out of Joaquin’s office.
Romina said nothing. She turned on the faucet and lowered her gaze to wash her hands.
For some reason, after learning that Sabrina was going to divorce for Joaquin, she felt as if something inside her kept sinking.
That feeling was hard to describe.
“Ms. Sandoval, what exactly is your rtionship with Joaquin?”
Sabrina quickly approached, her eyes now filled with a chilling coldness.
Romina lifted her gaze, ncing at the woman in the mirror.

Every time she saw Sabrina, she always felt like she was looking at a music box princess~XO) exquisitely delicate.
It was only natural that Joaquin would like her.
“I am Jericho’s wife.” Romina turned off the faucet and looked at the woman in front of her. “Didn’t I already tell you that when we first met in prison?”
“Stop pretending! I saw youe out of Joaquin’s office. You were the one who closed the door just now, not the wind, right?”
As her voice fell, Romina’s hand, which was reaching for a paper towel, suddenly paused.
Sabrina’s voice rose a little. “Whether it was overseas or here, no one is allowed in the private lounge of Joaquin’s CEO office except for Erick! But I just came out of there. If you weren’t hiding in the lounge, then where were you hiding?”
“Hiding?” Romina lowered her head to wipe the back of her hand, her voice deep. “There is nothing improper between Mr. Bowman and me. Why would I need to hide?”
“Nothing improper? If that’s true, why would you go into his lounge?”
Even she herself couldn’t get into that ce.
But Sabrina didn’t say the second half of that sentence.
“I have things to do. I really don’t have the energy to discuss this with you here. I’ll be going now.”
Romina tossed the paper towel into the trash can and turned to leave.
But in the next second, her wrist was suddenly grabbed by Sabrina.
Romina’s steps came to an abrupt halt.
She turned to look at the woman in front of her, her voice icy cold. “Ms. Palmer, what exactly do you mean by this?”
Sabrina released her hand and lowered her voice. “Since you say you’re Jericho’s wife, then please know your ce and don’t get too close to him. Because I’m about to get a divorce, and from now on, he will be my man…”
My man.

When those words reached her ears, Romina’s heart seemed to skip a beat.
It was as if something was stuck in her throat, and she couldn’t say a word.
Especially when she thought that Joaquin might also like this woman, her chest felt unbearably tight.
That feeling was indescribable.
“Although I heard you’re also divorcing Jericho, Joaquin is your uncle. He’s not someone you should covet. Do you understand?”
Listening to Sabrina’s slightly warning tone, Romina’s expression suddenly turned ice–cold.
After a moment, she spoke calmly, “Since Ms. Sandoval likes him so much, why did you marry another man in the first ce?”
She had originally wanted to find out the truth, but Sabrina was so tight–lipped that she didn’t reveal a single word.
She turned to wash her hands. “It’s none of your business.”
Romina ignored her, simply giving her a cold nce before striding out of the restroom.
By the time she drove back to the wellness clinic, it was already close to eleven o’clock.
The sun was shining brightly today, and the re on the windshield made it hard for her to keep her eyes open.
After arriving at the wellness clinic, she couldn’t focus on work all afternoon. Sabrina’s words kept echoing in her mind.
She barely made it to the evening, her emotions finally easing a little.
A familiar sound of footsteps came from the direction of the door.
Hearing the sound, Romina looked up and immediately saw Jericho approaching quickly.
