<h4>Chapter 252: FATEFUL MEETING</h4>


    "WHO THE hell are you?"


    Now that Gong Hanseo was looking at the violent man, he immediately recognized him. "It’s me, Min Sunbae-nim," he said bluntly, addressing Lee Min, who was the sunbae that Kang Daeho married after graduating from uni. He knew because, as he said before, he used to have romantic feelings for Kang Daeho. "Gong Hanseo from the English Literature Department."


    Yeah, his major had nothing to do with music.


    But being in the English Literature Department meant reading a lot, and that helped him widen his vocabry and improve hismunication skills— especially when it came to talking and writing in English.


    His upgraded skills helped him be a betterposer/producer.


    In the end, his major ended up being useful in his music career.


    "Gong Hanseo," Lee Min muttered himself, and then he nodded as if he finally remembered Gong Hanseo. "The washed-up idol?"


    Gong Hanseo’s career as a soloist-sh-producer was now longer than his time as an idol.


    But most people still remembered him as Gong Hanseo of <i>Victorious Boyfriends</i>— his former group.


    Of course, it was fine with him.


    After all, he loved his group and his group members.


    However, Gong Hanseo could tell that Lee Min was mocking him.


    Well, it was obvious since the violent man used the word "washed-up."


    <i>This bastard is probably one of those people who look down on idols.</i>


    "I remember you," Lee Min said, sneering. And then he pushed Gong Hanseo. "But you have nothing to do with this, so get the fuck out of here."


    Argh.


    Gong Hanseo grimaced not only because Lee Min hit him in the shoulder, but also because his stomach was aching again.


    However, he didn’t budge.


    He may not be an Alpha, and he may not be as huge as Lee Min.


    But Gong Hanseo was still pretty toned since he liked working out.


    Plus, his muscles weren’t for ’fashion’ only— he had the strength that matched his build. That was why he didn’t budge even when Lee Min pushed him.


    <i>If pushes to shove, I might get into a physical fight.</i>


    It was embarrassing to get involved in a brawl when he was already in his early forties, but he’d do it to protect someone.


    "Min Sunbae-nim, please stop."


    "Or else what?" Lee Min asked mockingly, pushing Gong Hanseo harder this time. "What’s a Beta like you can do to an Alpha like me?"


    Gong Hanseo smirked. "Why don’t you throw the first punch and find out, bastard?"


    Lee Min obviously looked pissed after getting cursed at.


    And, yes, Gong Hanseo was provoking the violent Alpha on purpose.


    There were CCTVs all over the parking lot.


    Hence, if Lee Min threw the first punch, then he could hit the bastard back and im that it was self-defense.


    <i>I just have to be careful so that it won’t appear as excessive self-defense on my part.</i>


    "What, scared of a Beta?" Gong Hanseo said, smirking again. "You’re all bark and no bite, huh? Some Alpha you are."


    That did it.


    Gong Hanseo received a punch in the face.


    Thankfully, he managed to move his face in time so he didn’t get his nose broken. He got hit in the cheek, though. Hence, the taste of blood in his mouth.


    "Hanseo-ya!"


    Gong Hanseo ignored Kang Daeho’s cries and punched Lee Min back.


    But since he was a bit shorter than the Alpha— and that bastard moved fast— his knuckles onlynded on Lee Min’s jaw.


    Tsk!


    Then Lee Min quickly moved to punch Gong Hanseo in the face again.


    This time, Gong Hanseo raised his crossed arms to block the punch.


    However, it was a mistake.


    Lee Min only acted like he was going to punch Gong Hanseo in the face.


    But, in thest moment, the violent Alpha changed the trajectory of his punch.


    Instead of Gong Hanseo’s face, his stomach received the blunt blow from Lee Min’s fist.


    Argh!

    Gong Hanseo’s insides were already making him feel like crap.


    So, when he got punched hard in the stomach, he instantly fell on the ground— his body curled up in pain.

    "Hanseo-ya!"


    Kang Daeho tried to help Gong Hanseo, but Lee Min pushed the Omega down hard until Kang Daeho fell on the ground.

    Gong Hanseo tried to get up and help Kang Daeho, but Lee Min stepped on Gong Hanseo’s stomach.


    He thought he was going to die from pain.


    It didn’t end there, though.


    Lee Min continued stomping on Gong Hanseo’s stomach, asionally kicking him in the head.


    Hence, Gong Hanseo used his arms to protect his head from the bastard’s kicks.


    "What do you think you’re doing to my lover, you bastard?!"


    That voice that he wouldn’t mistake for someone else...


    <i>Kyungmin Hyung?</i>


    Gong Hanseo heard a loud thud after Lee Min abruptly stopped kicking him.


    When he lifted his head, he was surprised to see Lee Min already on the ground— his hand covering his bleeding nose.

    "Babe, are you alright?"


    As expected, it was Seong Kyungmin.


    Gong Hanseo felt relieved after seeing his lover.

    "Hyung, my stomach hurts," Gong Hanseoined lightly while leaning against Seong Kyungmin’s body, who scooped him up easily. Then he closed his eyes when he felt his consciousness quickly fading away. "But please check on Daeho Hyung..."

    WHEN GONG Hanseo opened his eyes, he expected to see Seong Kyungmin.


    However...


    "Hyung, how are you feeling?"


    "Garam-ah?" Gong Hanseo asked, confused. "What are you doing here?"


    He knew he sounded like he wasn’t happy to see his dongsaeng, so he felt guilty.


    "No, I mean, I didn’t expect you to be here..."


    "Sihyuk Hyung and I were actually Dr. Seong’s clients when he called you. We were consulting him about changing our suppressants. So, I stayed while they were treating you," Lim Garam exined. Thankfully, the dongsaeng didn’t look offended. "Anyways, they said you have a stomach ulcer. You don’t need surgery for now. They said medication should suffice, but they’ll still monitor your condition."


    Ulcer, huh?


    <i>No wonder my stomach hurt so bad earlier.</i>


    "Thank you, Garam-ah. I appreciate you staying with me," Gong Hanseo said. "But may I know where Kyungmin Hyung is? Is he tending to a patient?"


    "Uhm, no," Lim Garam said, gulping nervously. "Dr. Seong is in the police station..."


    "What?!"


    Gong Hanseo tried to get up, but Lim Garam gently pushed him down until he was lying on the bed again. "What happened, Garam-ah?"


    "Dr. Seong beat up the Alpha who assaulted you, Hyung," Lim Garam exined worriedly. "As soon as Dr. Seong entrusted you to my care, he looked for the Alpha who hurt you and beat him to a pulp. It was so bad that the police were called. Dr. Seong almost killed that Alpha..."


    Aigoo.


    To be honest, Gong Hanseo couldn’t wrap his head around that news.


    <i>Kyungmin is patient and kind. I’ve never seen him use violence before, and we’ve been dating for several years now.</i>


    Yes, he had seen Seong Kyungmin pissed, but not angry.


    "Don’t worry, Hyung. My husband apanied Dr. Seong to the hospital," Lim Garam said. "And Dr. Seong himself is a big shot. I’m sure he’ll be fine."


    Gong Hanseo knew that, too.


    Even so, he was still worried about Seong Kyungmin.


    Then he remembered why he got into that situation in the first ce.


    Gong Hanseo was about to tell Lim Garam about his encounter with Kang Daeho, but he got distracted when the door to the VIP Room opened.


    He was relieved to see his lover.


    But Seong Kyungmin looked more relieved to see him awake. "Babe."


    Gong Hanseo frowned, getting ready to scold his lover. "Hyung, we need to talk."

    Gong Hanseo wanted to scold Seong Kyungmin for almost killing a man, but he forgot all of that when he saw his lover’s bruised knuckles.


    Yes, he knew that Seong Kyungmin got that from beating the shit out of someone.


    But he could turn a blind eye because that bastard assaulted not only him, but also Kang Daeho.


    "I’m fine, babe," Seong Kyungmin assured him. "How about you?"


    "It’s a stomach ulcer, but I don’t need surgery," Gong Hanseo said, and then he lifted his head. "What happened to Min Sunbae-nim?"


    "Don’t use honorifics on that bastard."


    "What happened to Lee Min?"


    "I sent that bastard to the hospital half-dead," Seong Kyungmin said, sighing. "But we’ve already settled out of court, so don’t worry about me getting arrested. Everyone is solved now." He then gently touched the side of Gong Hanseo’s head, frowning when he saw the bruise on the side of his head that Gong Hanseo got from Lee Min’s kick. "I should have hit that bastard more..."


    "Had you hit that bastard more, then you would have probably killed him, Hyung."


    "Good riddance, then."


    "Hyung, do you want to go to jail and leave me alone?"


    "You know that people like me can kill someone without getting caught or punished."


    Aigoo.


    Gong Hanseo was reminded why Seong Kyungmin was friends with someone like Song Sihyuk.


    <i>Scary Alphas.</i>


    "Don’t say something scary, Hyung."


    "Okay. I’m sorry."


    Gong Hanseo changed the topic. "Hyung, what happened to Daeho Hyung?"


    "Who... oh, that pregnant Omega."


    Gong Hanseo’s eyes widened in shock. "Daeho Hyung is pregnant?"


    "Yes. He fainted after I brought you to the emergency room," Seong Kyungmin said nonchntly. "My colleague told me earlier that the patient is pregnant."


    Oh, my.


    Now, Gong Hanseo was even more worried about Kang Daeho.
