Chapter 250: TROUBLE IN PARADISE

"THANK YOU for your hard work, everyone," Garam said while bowing properly, speaking in a clear and polite voice from the director to every single staff member who had worked together the entire day. "See you tomorrow."
Song Gunwoo copied Garam, even without him telling his son to do so. "Thank you for your hard work. Let’s work hard tomorrow, too."
Even Seulgi did the same. "Thank you, everyone!"
Aigooya.
Garam smiled proudly because of how polite his children were.
He wasn’t expecting people to praise his son because being respectful was the bare minimum to be a decent human being.
So, he was surprised when the staff around them praised his children excessively.
Like they couldn’t believe that Song Gunwoo and Seulgi bowed their heads and greeted everyone politely, plete with honorifics.
It was sad.
But he couldn’t me people for reacting that way towards his kids’ politeness.
Just yesterday, the news of an elementary school student— a young chaebol from Junsung Group— beat the old security guard of his academy with a baseball bat had shaken the entire country.
The violent attack happened all because the poor security guard gently reminded the chaebol kid and his friends that they couldn’t hit stray cats with their balls.
Kids these days are scary, but kids from chaebol families are scarier.
That was why Garam was adamant about raising Song Gunwoo and Seulgi as good people.
And they should start by treating the people around them with respect.
"Director, this isn’t much, but I reserved a restaurant for everyone," Garam said while talking to the director of themercial film that they were shooting. "Please head over there with the team. Our people will pick you up and drive you there."
The director looked pleasantly surprised. "Aigoo, Garam-ssi. You’ve been taking care of us all day. First, you called a food truck that served us delicious sandwiches and refreshing drinks for breakfast. Then a luxurious buffet for lunch. And now, this."
"It’s nothing, sir. Plus, Sua Noona and I arranged the breakfast and lunch treat together. Even this dinner is both on us," Garam said, smiling. Song Sua wasn’t there anymore because his cousin-inw had several important meetings that day. Even so, he couldn’t just take credit for everything. "Please have a nice dinner with everyone."
"Are you noting with us, Garam-ssi?"
"The restaurant serves alcoholic drinks, so I can’t bring the kids there. Plus, we already have a priormitment— we’ll be having dinner with their grandfathers," Garam exined politely, smiling apologetically to the director. "Let’s have dinner together once we finish filming."

"DAD, do you not want to have dinner with the staff?"
Garam, who was carrying the sleeping Seulgi in his arms while in the backseat of their new luxury van, looked at Song Gunwoo, who was sitting next to him. "Why do you ask, son? You know that your grandfathers asked us to have dinner with them first."
"That’s true. But I also felt like Dad didn’t give the director a real chance to invite us to eat with them, considering that you reserved a restaurant that isn’t child-friendly," Song Gunwoo said. "I don’t think the director and the staff members are bad people, though. They were genuinely nice to us."
Garam chuckled. "Maybe you’re too young to understand this, but it’s awkward when your boss joins you for a team dinner. Well, technically, we aren’t their bosses. Even so, they’ll definitely cater to us had we joined them. That can’t befortable for them, especially for the young staff members."
"Oh, is that so?" Song Gunwoo then turned to Shin Geon and Shin Junho, who were driving the car and sitting in the passenger seat, respectively. "Uncle Geon, Uncle Junho, would you be ufortable if my daddy joined your team dinner with the other uncles and aunties?"
"Absolutely, Young Master," Shin Geon answered bluntly. "We respect Chairman Song, but his presence would definitely make the team dinner a bit ufortable. We’ll have to walk on eggshells around our big boss, after all."
"That’s the same for me, Young Master," Shin Junho said. "But it’s not necessary a bad thing to let your subordinate have fun with themselves."
"I see," Song Gunwoo said while nodding. "I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you for your input, Uncle Geon, Uncle Junho."
Aigooya.
Garam only smiled while shaking his head.
My son is already studying how to be a good boss in the future.
Anyway, they soon arrived at the fancy French restaurant that his Omega father-inw and Alpha father-inw had reserved for their dinner.
My inws want to see my kids.
"Grandpa, Grandad!"
"Papa! Dadad!"
Garam smiled when Song Gunwoo ran to his grandparents while Seulgi called them lovingly (Seulgi referred to his Omega grandfather as ’Papa’ while ’Dadad’ would be his Alpha grandfather).
He then greeted his inws politely.
"Look at our grandchildren."
"They’re growing up fast."
At first, Garam was worried that Seulgi might not enjoy the food since he hadn’t introduced his daughter to other cuisines yet.
Thankfully, his baby girl wasn’t picky.
Seulgi enjoyed the Ratatouille (Song Gunwoo’s choice because he watched an animated film with the same name) and the Quiche Lorraine. The toddler especially loved the desserts: éirs, crème brulee, and croquembouche.
In fact, his daughter loved the croquembouche so much that Garam had to order one for take-out, even though that particr restaurant didn’t really do take-outs and deliveries.
Perks of dining in with my famous chaebol inws.
"Seulgi will give Didi krumbush," Seulgi said, mispronouncing ’croquembouche’ in the cutest way possible. "Seulgi loves krumbush!"
Aww.
Everyone at the table melted because of Seulgi’s cuteness.
"It seems like our granddaughter has the pte for French cuisine," his Omega father-inw said, smiling while the smudge of sauce from the corner of Seulgi’s mouth. "Garam-ah, go and get a passport for our Seulgi as soon as possible."
"Yes?"
"Since it’s Gunwoo’s summer vacation already, we have time for a quick vacation," his Omega father-inw said, looking at Garam. "Let’s bring the kids to France. I want to feed my granddaughter authentic French dishes."
Aigooya.
My baby girl is already being spoiled rotten by his rich grandfathers.
"This is the perfect time to go on a vacation," his Alpha father-inw said, clearly in high spirits. "Sihyuk is swamped with work at this time of the year, so he might not be able to join us."
"Our poor Sihyuk might cry," his Omega father-inw said, but it was clear that he wasn’t really sad for Song Sihyuk. "That would be a sight to behold."
Garam chuckled.
My inws really love teasing their son.
"It’s not really advisable to visit Paris inte July or early August, so we’ll just make it a very quick visit," his Alpha father-inw said, and then he turned to Song Gunwoo. "Is there anywhere you want to go to this summer, Gunwoo-ya?"
"Maldives, Grandad," Song Gunwoo answered in a heartbeat. "I want to enjoy the beach this summer."
Aigooya.
Garam got slightly nervous because of his son’s choice.
He wasn’t sure about that, but he kept his mouth shut for now.
A huge body of water and children... it’s a scarybination.

GARAM woke up at dawn when Song Sihyuk carefully joined him in bed.
When his husband hugged him from behind, he realized that his skin was cold.
So, Sihyuk Hyung is sober enough to take a shower first.
Garam thought his husband woulde home drunk since it had been a while since the Alpha went out to drink with a friend.
"Hyung, wee home."
"Oh, did I wake you?"
"No, I woke up naturally," Garam lied. "So, how was your date with Dr. Seong?"
"It wasn’t a date, honey," Song Sihyuk said, obviously disgusted even though they both knew he was only joking. "Anyway, it’s serious."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Seong Kyungmin was covered in the pregnant Omega’s pheromones when we met up."
"What?!" Garam immediately turned around to face Song Sihyuk, cupping his husband’s face between his hands. "Hyung, is Dr. Seong cheating on Hanseo Hyung?"
Dr. Seong Kyungmin didn’t seem like the cheating type.
But you never know.
"No, of course not," Song Sihyuk said while shaking his head. "But that pregnant Omega seems to be seducing Seong Kyungmin."
Tsk.
I knew it!
"You should talk to Gong Hanseo soon, honey," Song Sihyuk said, his hands already sliding in under Garam’s pajama top. "You should ask him if he really wants the baby to the point that he’d risk losing his fiancé."
Oh.
Garam felt disheartened for his friend.
It’s that serious, huh?
***
GONG HANSEO waited patiently for Seong Kyungmin, even though his fiance told him not to wait for him because he mighte homete.
I heard he’s having a drink with Song Sihyuk-ssi.
He was about to send Seong Kyungmin a message and ask him what time he’d be home, but he got a text message from Kang Daeho. Since it was an ungodly hour to text an acquiantance, he worried that it might be another emergency.
However...
<"Hanseo-ya, can you lend me Dr. Seong this weekend?">
Excuse me?
Gong Hanseo felt upset, so he put his phone down in the meantime to gather his thoughts.
While he was trying to calm down, he heard the door of the penthouse opening.
Yes, Gong Hanseo was living in a penthouse with Seong Kyungmin.
This is Hyung’s, of course.
He immediately got up and bolted out of the room to greet his fiance.
"Hyung, wee home..."
Hmm?
"You’re still awake?" Seong Kyungmin asked worriedly. "Were you waiting for me?"
Gong Hanseo froze in his tracks when Seong Kyungmin’s strong perfume hit his nose.
That made him ufortable.
This isn’t Hyung’s usual perfume...
