Inside 666

The doctor’s forcefulness only deepened Ariel’s unease, especially with his hand mped on her

shoulder so tightly that she couldn’t move at all.

“What are you doing? I never agreed to any injection!” Ariel had a sharp intuition about certain things, and the feeling that something was off kept intensifying.

<b>“</b>Ms. Walker, don’t worry. It’s just an allergy test.” The nurse had stepped in to help the doctor restrain her. Her tone was nonchnt, but her actions were firm.

Ariel was sure this wasn’t part of the assessment.

With her fragile condition, every step should have been weighed carefully by the doctor, and Liam hadn’t

    ordered this.

This wasn’t a blood draw. It was an injection!

“Let go of me!” Ariel shouted, thrashing violently.

But her sharp resistance barely slowed them down. <fn60a5> Official source is FindN()vel</fn60a5>

The nurse, clearly impatient, used both hands to restrain her.

Ariel was suddenly pinned down, forced to watch as the silent man stuck a needle into her vein and pushed a bit of liquid inside.

A surge of strength came from nowhere. Ariel fought back, unconcerned if her thrashing made the needle tear into her.

She drove her leg upward and kicked toward the man’s stomach, no longer caring whether she hurt him

    <b>or </b>not.

They were trying to hurt her, and she had no idea why.

Ariel’s struggle was so fierce that even the nurse was thrown aside. Seizing the moment when the man recoiled, Ariel rolled off the bed and staggered toward the door.

    However, it was locked.

Ariel could only m into the door repeatedly to draw attention from outside.

Realizing how quickly Ariel caught on and how much of a scene she was causing, the two exchanged grim looks before slipping out through another door. 2

Meanwhile, Liam finished the surgery quickly. He left the sutures and final touches to his team as he nned to check in on Ariel.

As he reached the waiting area, a loudmotion from deep inside the corridor caught his attention.

With a slight frown, he stepped into the corridor.

The consultation room where people were lining up was quiet. Themotion wasing from the

    innermost room.

    “Someone… help…”

The voice was broken, but Liam instantly recognized that it was Ariel’s voice.

His expression darkened. Puzzled as to why Ariel would be in that room, he strode over without any hesitation. At that moment, the door swung open and Ariel copsed out. Liam’s face went pale as he caught her in his arms. 1

He nced down and saw the needle still embedded in her arm. Herplexion was ghostly pale, clearly showing she was under some kind of influence.

Liam froze in surprise. He nced inside but saw no one else. At once, he scooped Ariel into his arms and strode out in long steps.

The nurses outside quickly noticed something was wrong and rushed over. “What happened?”

“Call OB–GYN and prep an OR! Now!” His voice was steady and low.

Liam walked quickly. Right now, Ariel was his top concern. Her pregnancy was clearly in trouble.

Ariel had scheduled an abortion with a doctor for Saturday, and her information was already on record for the appointment.

The OB–GYN department quickly dispatched staff to assist.

Ariel’s sight blurred to ck as her body rocked with every jolt. The stabbing cramps drenched her in cold sweat. In her haze, her hand still instinctively pressed against her belly. The pain radiated upward until it wed at her chest.

A chilling premonition struck, so overpowering it tore herst shred of reason apart.

She had already decided to tell Jayson about the abortion she had scheduled for tomorrow once he came

    back.

But this happened suddenly and without warning. An ident harmed the baby.

All the strength she had braced herself with was ripped apart in an instant. The pain she thought she would faceter came crashing down on her now<b>, </b>merciless and unstoppable.
