Chapter 1604

    ?Chapter 1604:

Deep down, she’d suspected it before—but she’d clung to denial, convincing herself that Christina was merely enjoying a fleeting moment of Dn’s affection.

Now, facing the truth, she saw it clearly: she had been a joke all along.

“I’ll work with you,” Vickie said tly, her voice trembling with both anger and resolve. “As long as you help me get Dn—help me be his wife—I’ll do whatever you want.”

She spoke the words aloud, but inside, a darker vow took root: Christina would never live to see that day.

The man standing before her was no better—he was just another fool willing to bleed for Christina.

If Christina had to die, then Terrence couldn’t be allowed to live either.

Once her n seeded, she’d eliminate everyst threat standing in her way.

“I’ll help you win him,” Terrence replied with unwavering certainty, rising to his feet. “But remember what I told you yesterday—Christina isn’t someone you’re allowed to touch.”

He lifted his hand, shaped it into a gun, and aimed it at her with a manic gleam in his eyes before mimicking a shot.

Vickie stiffened instantly, pressing herself against the back of the sofa. Her pulse raced—her thumb dug into the web of her hand as she fought to steady her breathing.

His gaze wasn’t merely intimidating—it radiated violence, a hunger for blood.

Every time their eyes met, something primal inside her recoiled. Those icy blue eyes were dead, merciless, and far too familiar with killing.

He had murdered before. She could feel it.

No ordinary man carried that kind of darkness in his stare.

“I—I… I wouldn’t dare,” Vickie stammered, bowing her head and clutching her trembling hands together.

Terrence leaned forward, palms braced on the table, his grin curling into something dangerously wicked. “Anyone who touches my woman dies.”

    ???????? ?????????????? ???? ??????????????????.??????

Then he let out a sharp, manicugh as he straightened up. His tongue pressed briefly against his cheek before he ran a hand through his slicked-back hair—every movement radiating arrogance, raw confidence, and a hint of street-born defiance.

Only when he was gone did Vickie finally exhale, her body ckening as she realized her palms were damp with cold sweat.

That man was utterly unhinged—and far too dangerous. Once she achieved her goal, she’d use the full power of the Scott family to destroy him.

He loved Christina so obsessively? Fine. Sending them both to the afterlife together would be the perfect ending.

On the third day, Christina attended the banquet with Chloe by her side.

The event had been arranged by Vickie herself, under the pretense of hosting a farewell party before Christina left the country—insisting she wanted her to enjoy onest night of celebration.

If not for Chloe’s persistence, Christina would have refused outright.

She could sense the malice beneath Vickie’s polished smile.
