Chapter 1597

    ?Chapter 1597:

If anyone in thepany saw their proud CEO showing such deference to a secretary, they’d likely faint on the spot.

“I’m just here to check in and leave a few instructions. I’ll be heading to Lionesspaw in a few days,” Christina said evenly.

“Don’t you worry, Miss Jones. As long as I’m here, thispany will run like clockwork,” Robbie dered, thumping a hand proudly against his chest.

Christina didn’t doubt him. Robbie had once been a rising legend in the business world, taking the helm of a major Estvanian corporation at just eighteen.

Within a few short years, he had propelled thatpany into the ranks of the global top five hundred.

After she’d saved his life from an orchestrated corporate assassination, he’d left that sess behind without a second thought, choosing instead to serve her with unwavering loyalty.

“Miss Jones, Brendon Dawson sent his project manager today to request a meeting with me,” Robbie said, bending slightly at the waist.

Christina’s brow lifted faintly. “Oh? And did you meet him?”

It didn’t surprise her. The Dawson Group had already lost two clients to their supposedly “small”pany. Brendon must be losing his mind.

But this was only the beginning. She would make him choke on his own pride. Even with his grandmother’s empire handed to him, he’d never be more than an unworthy heir.

“No,” Robbie replied, grinning. “I told him to go back and tell Brendon that if he wants a meeting, he’ll have to make the appointment in person. Only then will I consider it.”

Christina’s lips curved into a faint, approving smile. “Good. You did well.”

“It’s all thanks to your guidance, Miss Jones,” Robbie said, his grin stretching from ear to ear. Praise from her was worth more than any award.

To have a leader like Christina—sharp, fearless, manding—was something men like him could only dream of.

    ???????????????? ???? ????????: ??????????ν??????﹒?????

Besides, she had once saved his life. That kind of debt wasn’t repaid in a lifetime—his loyalty to her would never waver.

Christina gave a few final instructions before turning to leave.

“Miss Jones, are you heading to Lionesspaw to expand our overseas operations?” Robbie asked, curiosity slipping into his tone.

“Something like that. Thepany’s in your hands,” she replied simply.

“You can count on mepletely. I’ll make sure you’re proud,” he said with firm confidence.

    Christina nodded once. “Good.”

Without another word, she walked out, her calm presence leaving the room lingering with a quiet sense of respect.

At Cloudcrest Estate, Christina rested in Dn’s arms, the two of them sharing a single book.

His fingers movedzily through her hair, each slow stroke carrying quiet affection.

“Do you really have to go to Lionesspaw?” Dn asked in a low, reluctant voice.

“Yeah,” Christina replied, meeting his gaze squarely. “I have to.”
