Chapter 1574

    ?Chapter 1574:

She reached forward to help Brendon throw another punch, but Robin pushed her aside. She stumbled and hit the floor with a sharp cry.

Brendon lunged again. Robin was faster. He slipped out of the way andnded a controlled kick that sent Brendon stumbling back.

“Come on then, all of you. Try it,” Robin said, his eyes cold, voice steady andpletely unfazed.

He crouched to grab his phone. It was scratched but still functional. He unlocked it immediately.

Still nothing from his friend. Not a single reply.

A knot of worry tightened in his chest. Too much time had passed without a word.

Something felt wrong. He sent two more messages, urging a response or a call the moment they were seen.

When he turned around, he caught Joselyn creeping toward him, her phone raised like a blunt weapon.

She froze. Then, forcing a stiffugh, she lowered the phone to her side. “The weather is… very nice today…”

“Try that again, and I’ll dismantle the Dawson Group without a second thought,” Robin said, shooting her a cold stare.

The threat hung in the air, and they all shrank back.

He wasn’t bluffing. If the Miller family wanted the Dawson Group gone, they could make it happen before dawn.

Minutes ago, panic had made them forget who Robin truly was. Now, the weight of his identity and that threat settled over them like a chill.

Joselyn hurried toward Brendon, her heart twisting at the sight of his bruised and swollen face. “My poor son… How did you end up like this?”

Brendon red at Robin, hatred simmering in his eyes, yet his anger remained trapped behind clenched teeth.

He knew better than to take another swing. If Robin decided to retaliate in earnest, the Dawson Group wouldn’t survive the aftermath.

    ???????????????????? ?????????????? ???????? g????????ν?????????????

Joselyn turned to her son again, confusion knitting her brows. “What happened? How did your grandmother fall? Where did it happen? And how did it get so serious that she needs surgery?” Her voice trembled with a mix of worry and frustration. She only knew Bethel had been rushed to the hospital—no one had exined the details.

But her questions hung in the air, unanswered. They all avoided her gaze.

A cold suspicion began to coil in her gut.

They were hiding something. And the only person her son would stay silent to protect was Ynda.

The pieces clicked together in Joselyn’s mind. Her children must be covering for Ynda.

Fresh rage surged through her. She marched straight to Ynda and pped her hard across the face.

The sound echoed through the corridor like a crack of thunder. Ynda held her stinging cheek with shaking fingers. Tears glistened in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. That wounded expression tugged fiercely at Brendon’s protective instincts—precisely as she intended.

Now all the me would shift to Katie. And Brendon’s guilt toward Ynda would only grow stronger. His desire to protect her would grow with it.
