?Chapter 1556:
Ynda’s mind instantly emptied, leaving a terrifying void. Was he really cheating on her right now?
Loud, ragged breathing filled her ear, and then she heard a rough, strained voice that she knew immediately.
“Christina…”
Blood surged to Ynda’s head so fast it made her dizzy, and her entire body began to shake with overwhelming rage. The phone slid out of her grasp and smashed against the floor with a sharp crack.
That lowlife! Christina had actually managed to steal Brendon away during the masked party!
Katie’s expression changed the second she saw the look on Ynda’s face. She quickly bent down and grabbed the phone. Her face lost all its color in a single, painful moment.
She recognized her brother’s voice, and the sounds ying along with it were so disgusting she wanted to end the call immediately.
Ynda violently snatched the phone back. Her jaw was clenched so hard it ached. “Start searching. Every room,” she spat out quietly.
Without another word, she pressed the button to record the call, her entire body shaking uncontrobly.
A terrifying coldness washed over her, chilling her from the outside in until the very center of her heart feltpletely frozen and numb.
Ynda tried desperately to hold back her tears, but they streamed down her face as she dug her fingernails painfully deep into her palm.
Deep in her mind, one single, harsh thought formed with clear resolve: Brendon had been the one to cheat first, and because of that, she wouldn’t hold herself back from revenge anymore.
Inside the room, the two figures tangled together on the bed werepletely lost to the moment, oblivious to the disaster hurtling toward them.
The door exploded inward, but the sudden noise didn’t even register with either of them.

It wasn’t until Ynda barreled into the room, tears cutting paths down her face, and delivered a vicious p across Brendon’s cheek that they noticed.
The sharp crack of the blow echoed like a gunshot, jolting Brendon halfway out of his drunken haze and back to earth.
His eyes werepletely dazed. He stared nkly at Ynda, then down at the woman beneath him, and the terrible rity snapped into focus.
Vickie, still arching against him in her drunken state, only fueled Ynda’s fury further. Ynda turned and pped Vickie hard across the face.
The unexpected, brutal sting instantly yanked Vickie back to reality, too.
Vickie froze for a second, a statue of shock, before her brain finally rebooted.
She looked down at the man she was clinging to, back at Ynda, and then back again—and let out a piercing shriek.
Vickie shoved Brendon away from her and, gathering every bit of strength she had left, pped him again.
Both sides of Brendon’s face now showed matching, fiery red handprints, a painful souvenir from two different women.
