Chapter 1555

    ?Chapter 1555:

“Fine work, mydy. My blood tastes unusually sweet,” Terrencemented. He watched her with a raw, feverish hunger in his eyes.

A violent, restless desire churned deep inside him, a feeling he was struggling desperately to keep hidden.

“I don’t have time for this. Stop following me.” Christina aimed the small fork at him, backed up several steps, then turned and walked away without looking back.

Terrence stayed exactly where he was, watching her leave. Obsession burned in his blue eyes with a focused determination that was close to pure madness.

He was going to have Christina—no matter the price.

A single thought gripped Terrence’s mind tightly. Once he finished building the metaphorical cage with his own hands, he woulde for Christina and take her home.

The thought twisted through Terrence’s mind as his lips curved into a faint smile, his gaze dark and hungry for her.

He was already imagining how perfect it would feel when she finally belongedpletely to him, convinced the sensation would be absolutely exquisite.

“The number you dialed is unavable. Please try againter…”

Ynda hadpletely lost track of how many times she had already tried calling Brendon.

Every single call connected to his number, but no one ever answered the phone.

Why wasn’t he answering his calls? Had he simply lost his phone, or was he actively choosing to ignore her?

A dull, chilling panic began to crawl up inside her chest.

She was terrified that something bad had happened to Brendon—yet she was even more terrified that he was actively betraying her.

“Ynda, he’s still not picking up?” Katie asked, her brow furrowed in concern.

Where exactly had her brother gone? He had been gone for far too long.

    ???????????? с?α?????????? ??????????ν?????????????

A heavy wave of worry crashed over Katie—she was honestly terrified that Brendon might be doing something right now to betray Ynda.

In Katie’s mind, Ynda and Brendon were the ideal picture ofsting love, and she desperately wished that image wouldn’t break apart.

“Yeah… I just can’t figure out where he went. Do you think something bad happened?” Ynda asked, her voice tight with growing panic.

“Try not to freak out. Maybe he’s just stuck in some important work meeting and turned his phone off,” Katie suggested, offering an excuse that didn’t even convince herself. “Why don’t you try hitting his number one more time?”

Ynda sucked in a quick, shaky breath and gave a small nod. “Okay, I will.”

She picked up her cell phone and dialed his number again, not daring to let herself hope for a positive oue.

She was fully prepared for the same result asst time: a ringing line that no one would answer.

But this time, the call went through, and the sounds she heard immediately told her something terrible was happening.

It was the muffled noise of a man and a woman in the middle of something private and intimate.
