Chapter 1547

    ?Chapter 1547:

He sneered, convinced old age had truly addled his mother’s mind. Why else would she consider handing the Dawson Group to someone outside the family?

If he didn’t take control now, the Dawson Group might as well be renamed the Jones Group before long.

“Drop the act,” Trevor snapped, waving a hand impatiently. “You need to transfer every share you own to me. I won’t let some outsider get their hands on the Dawson family’s assets.”

A man nearby stepped forward, holding a stack of official share transfer documents.

“Sign these, and I promise you’ll live out your days in peace andfort. If you refuse… don’t say I didn’t warn you about the consequences,” Trevor threatened, his voice low and dark.

Once he forced the transfer, his next step would be to reim the valuable Dawson estate.

He believed nothing that rightfully belonged to the Dawsons should ever go to an outsider.

The estate wasn’t just worth a fortune—it was the family’s heart and pride. He had to get it back.

“Stop dreaming. I will never sign anything,” Bethel shot back fiercely. “The Dawson Group will never belong to someone as greedy and heartless as you.”

“Oh, you won’t?” Trevorughed, a cold, mean sound. “Then get ready to watch Christina die.”

“What are you nning?” Bethel’s voice shook with panic.

“See? You only care about the outsider. Look how fast you panic at her name. Pathetic—our own family means nothing to you,” Trevor mocked.

Bethel fixed him with a furious re. “If youy a finger on her, you’ll regret it.”

“What could you possibly do?” Trevor’s smile twisted into something cruel and unhinged. “If you don’t sign, I’ll have her tortured to death right in front of you.”

Bethel was resisting now, but Trevor was sure he had ways to break her.

All color drained from Bethel’s face, and her body began to tremble.

Knowing Trevor had already kidnapped his own mother, she was certain there was no terrible act he wouldn’t attempt.

“I need to see her,” Bethel insisted, assuming Trevor had captured Christina as well.

“Sign first, then you can see her,” Trevor lied, seizing on her mistaken assumption to pressure her.

If Christina hadn’t been so clever and dangerously capable of fighting back, Trevor would have taken her too. But capturing her wasn’t worth the risk.

“No. I need proof that she is safe first,” Bethel stated firmly.

If Christina was really in his hands, refusing to sign might be the only thing keeping her unharmed.

The moment Bethel signed, she would lose all leverage, and Christina’s safety would be out of her control.

A man who would kidnap his own mother clearly had no regard for decency.

“If you won’t sign, I’ll order my men to start on her now,” Trevor threatened, his voice dropping to a chilling tone.
