Chapter 1544

    ?Chapter 1544:

Christina asked gently, “Where is Bethel? Is she resting in her bedroom?”

“No. She received a phone call and rushed out earlier,” the maid replied.

A strong sense of unease settled in Christina’s chest. She asked, “Did she say where she was going? Or when she would return?”

    The maid shook her head.

Christina pulled out her phone and dialed Bethel’s number. The instant she heard the voicemail prompt, she knew something was wrong.

“Did you guys start dinner yet? Good thing I got back just in ti—”

Robin didn’t finish before Christina strode past him, her expression grim.

“Hey, where are you going?” He hurried after her as she moved toward the staircase.

“Bethel is missing,” Christina said, her brow tightly furrowed. “I have a bad feeling about this.”

“What?” Robin tensed instantly. “Did you call her?”

“I did. Her phone’s off,” Christina replied, her voice clipped.

“Maybe her battery died? Should we wait a bit longer?” Robin suggested, trying to sound hopeful.

“No. I’m not taking that risk. Every minute we lose makes it more dangerous.” Christina’s tone tightened, her eyes dark with resolve.

“Then let’s go look for her. Why are you heading upstairs? What are we—” Robin scratched his head, bewildered.

“Quiet.” Christina’s sharp tone cut him off. She strode into her room and switched on herputer.

Robin opened his mouth to question why she was at a screen when someone might be in danger, but the authority in her voice silenced him.

He paced restlessly behind her, watching her work. Within moments, his steps faltered.

Lines of code flickered across the monitor, merging seamlessly with a grid of surveince feeds.

    ga??????ν??????.k??n – ???????? ???????????????? ????

Robin stared, utterly lost. He didn’t know what she was doing, but he could feel it—she was operating on another level entirely.

No way. Christina was a tech prodigy too?

The realization left him numb, his confidence plummeting.

She really could do anything—and master it with rming ease.

Then, a single red dot appeared on the map, gliding slowly across the digitalndscape.

“Sit here and stay on the line with me. Keep reporting the red dot’s location,” Christina instructed, her tone all business.

Thankfully, the bracelet she had given Bethel wasn’t just jewelry—it was a micro-tracker she’d designed herself, allowing her to trace Bethel’s whereabouts precisely.

“Didn’t you sync it to your phone? Let mee with you,” Robin urged, panic shing across his face.

The dot was still moving. That could only mean one thing—Bethel was in trouble.

“No. The phone connection might cut out. It’s safer if you stay here and monitor it. I can’t risk a single mistake,” Christina replied, calm but resolute.
