Chapter 1508

    ?Chapter 1508:

“Shut up!” Omar snapped, his patience finally breaking. Heshed out with his foot, the kick mming into Eugene and sending him crashing to the ground. “This is Hubbard family business! Who the hell are you to meddle in it?”

Eugene hit the floor with a heavy thud, pain twisting his face as he groaned in humiliation.

“If my mother leaves, then I’m leaving too,” Eloise dered, stepping forward to clutch her mother’s arm. Her voice was steady, her eyes unwavering.

Elliott’s expression hardened, his tone equally resolute. “If my mother leaves the Hubbard family, then I leave too.”

“And me!” Omar cut in urgently, his voice rising. “Where my wife goes, I go!”

Eugene fought to hide a smug smile. Good riddance, he thought. Once Freddie was gone, the Hubbard fortune would be his for the taking.

“Uncle, just look at them,” Eugene said, suppressing his smirk and arranging his features into feigned remorse. “They’re ganging up on you, threatening you as if you’re the enemy. None of them show you any respect!”

Freddie’s hand crashed down on the table, his face dark with thunder. The sharp crack silenced the room.

The Happers exchanged nces, certain his rage was aimed at Omar’s side—secret satisfaction flickering in their eyes. But before they could draw another breath, Freddie’s cane cut through the air and struck Eugene squarely across the back.

“I’ll beat the wickedness out of you, you conniving bastard!” Freddie roared, his voice trembling with fury.

Eugene’s face contorted, rage overtaking fear. He grabbed the cane with both hands and shoved Freddie backward violently.

“Dad!” Omar shouted, darting forward to catch him. He turned zing eyes toward the Happers. “Look at them! Do they look sorry to you? If you let them go now, we’re cutting all ties with the Hubbard family!”

“When did I say I was letting them go?” Freddie shot back, his tone low and steely. “I’m sparing their lives, not their legs. Break them. From today onward, they are no longer part of this family.”

Omar fell silent, his gaze shifting to Vanessa for her decision.

“Then do as Freddie says,” Vanessa answered coldly, her voice sharp as ss.

Freddie’s heart ached at the memory of his elder sister. She had once risked her life for him, a debt he had carried his entire life. That was the only reason he had tolerated the Happers for so long—turning a blind eye each time they overstepped. But now their treachery wasid bare. They had plotted to wipe out the Hubbard family and had used the family name tomit unspeakable acts beyond these walls. He could forgive them no longer.

The Happers turned deathly pale, disbelief and terror frozen on their faces.

Breaking their legs—it was a fate worse than death.

“No! Uncle Freddie, please! You can’t do this to me!” Eugene pleaded, crawling forward on his knees only to be stopped by Elliott’s outstretched arm.

Rayna copsed beside him, her body limp, her eyes nk with despair.

It was over. Everything they had schemed, everything they had built, was gone.

Bruno wasn’t faring any better. His body trembled uncontrobly, every muscle taut with fear.

He wanted nothing more than to bolt, but the Hubbard guards stood like an unbreakable wall around them—there was no escape.
