Chapter 1501

    ?Chapter 1501:

“I won’t. I mean it. When we’re both free, I’ll take you out,” Christina replied with a smile.

“Okay, it’s gettingte. You should go rest,” Robin said, winding down the conversation.

Christina nodded, faked a big yawn like she was exhausted, and quickly left the room.

If she stayed any longer, Robin might start sensing something was off.

The following morning, Brendon arrived at the Dawson family estate and locked eyes with Robin in the living room, tension thickening between them.

“Grandma, who said he could stay here?” Brendon snapped, clearly angry.

    “I did,” Bethel replied calmly.

Brendon’s temper red. “How could you let some random guy stay here? Christina brought him, didn’t she?”

If Christina weren’t living here, Robin wouldn’t have had any reason to be on the property. The Millers weren’t close to the Dawsons, and Brendon hardly knew Robin.

“That’s none of your concern,” Bethel replied, her tone cool.

“How is it not my concern? We may be divorced, but she was my wife—she was part of this family. Now she’s bringing some man into our estate? Is she trying to make a fool of us?” Brendon’s face flushed with anger.

Robin looked at him impassively, a hint of smugness in his expression. “Your estate? This ce belongs to Christina. What’s it got to do with you?”

The words stung. Brendon was still bitter that his grandmother had signed the estate over to Christina, someone he no longer considered family.

Now Robin’sment felt like a deliberate p in the face—a mockery.

Brendon pointed angrily at Robin. “Get out of here right now! This is Dawson family property! You are not wee to be here!”

Robin rose slowly, lookingpletely at ease. He even brushed a strand of hair off his forehead casually. “This ce belongs to Christina. I’m her guest. Why should I leave? You’re the one who wasn’t invited, so you need to leave.”

Bethel stood by, leaning on her cane, and said nothing in Brendon’s defense.

The property had been legally transferred to Christina, so Robin was telling the truth.

Christina was the owner and had the right to decide who stayed. Robin was her invited guest, and no one else could order him out.

Seeing his grandmother’s silence, Brendon felt a wave of disappointment.

“Grandma, whose side are you on? This guy is disrespecting me, and you’re just standing there doing nothing?” His face showed deep hurt, and his chest tightened.

His own grandmother was letting him be publicly humiliated without intervening. She had always doted on him since he was a child. When had that changed?

It seemed the shift had happened after she met Christina. Brendon couldn’t help but suspect that Christina had somehow manipted her.
