Chapter 1377:
But as Christina moved with lethal grace, their disdain dissolved into panic.
Every strikended exactly where it hurt the most, every maneuver a perfect blend of strength and agility.
Few knew, as she did, the secrets of human anatomy—pressure points, weak spots, the perfect angles to disable a foe.
From a distance, Gerry noticed the scuffle. It seemed like a woman was exchanging blows with a group of men.
At first, he grinned, amused by the sight of a lone woman taking on a group of men.
But as he drew closer, the grin fell from his face, reced by a surge of protective rage. His fists clenched in anger.
How dare they. These men had the audacity toy hands on his sister.
He mmed the car door, grabbed a fire extinguisher, and charged forward.
As he ran in, he expertly unleashed the spray at the men, causing immediate chaos.
Christina’s attacks, bined with his sudden intervention, threw the group into disarray.
Gerry’s gaze followed Christina, and admiration surged in his chest.
“Let me help you!” he shouted, rushing in with the empty extinguisher as a weapon.
At first, Gerry held his own, but the men were relentless. A hard kick to his stomach nearly knocked the air from his lungs. He staggered back, face flushing, veins standing out with the strain.
One of the burly men swung the extinguisher at his head.
Christina reacted instantly. The phone she had discarded earlier became her weapon again—she hurled it with deadly uracy.
It struck the man’s neck, and he went ck, his vision blurring. The extinguisher slipped from his grasp as he copsed.
Christina didn’t pause. She delivered a swift kick to another assant advancing on Gerry, clearing his path, then stepped forward, concern flickering across her features.
???????? ???????? ???????????????? ???? ?α??????ν??????.??????
“Are you okay?” she asked, steadying him.
Gerry pressed a hand to his stomach, still wincing. “Why… why do their punches hurt so much?”
“They’re trained fighters,” Christina said, her voice calm but edged with wry amusement. “Their fists are conditioned on bricks. Of course it hurts when they hit someone.”
Her lips curved in a faint, relieved smile. At least it hadn’t been his ribs. One solid kick there, and he could have easily broken one.
