Chapter 1376

    ?Chapter 1376:

    A weekter.

A sleek ck car idled at the edge of the street, its tinted windows concealing the man inside. Darian leanedzily against the leather seat, a faint, predatory smile ying on his lips. Through the ss, he watched Christina’s figure appear in the distance.

Around him, his men were already in position, waiting for Christina to show up.

Brendon Dawson had already refused the deal.

    Pathetic.

Darian smirked, flicking open a lighter and bringing the me to a cigarette. The tip glowed crimson in the dim light.

The men were top–notch mercenaries he had hired, each one exceptionally skilled.

He found it hard to believe Christina could take on his men. He exhaled slowly, a ring of smoke curling upward as his gaze sharpened.

Darian always got what he wanted. Every woman he set his sights on eventually broke beneath his will. Christina wouldn’t be an exception. After her, he’d deal with Davina next.

However, his amusement faded soon after, reced by irritation as his thoughts drifted to the Murray family—useless fools in his eyes.

They couldn’t even carry out a simple task. He had given them one order—capture Davina—and they’d managed to get themselves wiped out instead.

Just thinking about their failure disgusted Darian.

Meanwhile, outside the café, Christina said into her phone, her voice calm andposed, “Yes, I’m here. I’ll wait for you.”

The moment she hung up, her instincts screamed danger. A dozen men were approaching fast.

    Her eyes narrowed.

Just from the rhythm of their steps and the way they moved, she could tell they weren’t ordinary thugs.

    ???????????????? ???? ?????????ν????????????

Christina’s reflexes were razor-sharp. With a swift flick of her wrist, she sent her phone hurtling through the air toward a burly man.

The man dodged instinctively, creating the opening she needed to slip past the encirclement.

A massive fist swung toward her, but Christina ducked, feinting a sweeping kick that lured him into ovemitting.

Before he could recover, her leg shot up, striking his groin with precision.

He doubled over in pain, clutching himself, and in that fleeting moment, Christina followed up with a strike to his neck.

The man crumpled to the ground, writhing helplessly.

These thugs hadn’t taken Christina seriously at first, thinking their employer was overestimating the task by sending ten of them to capture one woman.
