Chapter 1330

    ?Chapter 1330:

There was nothing more vicious than breaking someone’s spirit. Nelly was in unbearable pain, drowning in regret over every decision she had made.

She regretted not being ruthless sooner—had she handed Katy over to Darian earlier, perhaps her son wouldn’t have met such a fate.

“It hurts…” Nelly gasped, her teeth clenched as sweat streamed down her pale forehead. “Antidote… the antidote… heart… give me the heart…”

She fought to speak, begging Katy to carve out Terence’s heart so she could consume it.

The agony tore through her like a nightly torment from hell, draining her of life itself. It was all that damned Davina’s fault.

Katy sat down, her expression void of emotion, watching Nelly’s suffering with detached calm, softly humming a luby.

It was the same luby Nelly used to sing to them as children.

Memories stirred within Katy’s mind—days when her parents adored her, when she lived like a cherished little princess bathed in love.

But her recollections tangled into confusion and pain.

Even now, knowing the truth, some part of her still refused to ept that she had been the unloved one. They had once treated her so tenderly…

When dawn arrived, the poison’s hold began to fade. Nelly gasped for breath, her face ghostly pale, clinging to life by a fragile thread.

Katy, who had remained still until then, suddenly reached for a sharp knife and rose to her feet.

She stepped closer to Nelly, her eyes cial and unfeeling. “Mom, it’s time for you to go. Dad and Conrad are waiting.”

Without giving Nelly a moment to breathe, Katy plunged the knife into her again and again.

Even after Nelly’s body went still, Katy kept stabbing, driven by a hatred that ran bone-deep.

When it was over, she looked down at their lifeless forms and exhaled softly, a faint smile of release breaking across her face. They were finally gone, and so was the shadow of her impending death.

    ???????????? с???ρ???????? ????????????????????????

Katy made her way to the kitchen, retrieving a sharp cleaver to dispose of the remains.

She had drugged the three of them the previous night and dismissed every servant from the house.

Now, she was the only living soul in the vast, silent vi. Humming a cheerful tune, she returned to the bloodstained room with the cleaver in hand.

In the next instant, the cleaver slipped from her grasp and hit the floor. Her eyes darted around the room, widening with shock and disbelief.

Where… were they? The three bodies she had bound to the heavy chairs were gone. They were supposed to be deadpletely, irrevocably dead!

The next day, Davina stared at the news report.
