    ?Chapter 1158:

    “Katie, don’t push me into pping you,” Christina said icily.<fnd062> ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? Find★Novel</fnd062>

The frost in her tone and her piercing stare made Katie instinctively retreat half a step, though she quickly tried topose herself.

“I’m here to remind you about the bet,” Katie dered, puffing herself up.

“The bet?” Christina nced at Brendon and Ynda, then gave a short, mockingugh. “And what bet exactly do you want me toply with?”

“You’re the one who wagered a hundred million. Don’t even think about wriggling out of it now,” Katie snapped.

“Are you all still sleeping? The second round of voting has just started.” Christina’s amused eyes swept over the group.

“What does that have to do with you? You were knocked out in the preliminaries,” Katie shot back.

Brendon’s brows knit together, and he spoke in a deliberately gentle tone: “If you lost, just own up to it. No one’s going to mock you for it.”

“Brendon’s right, Christina,” Ynda chimed in with her syrupy voice. “There’s nothing shameful about losing. You can always try again. If you work hard enough, I’m sure you’ll see your name on the list one day.”

“You must be daydreaming—or maybe all three of you need your eyesight checked. With that many eyes between you, and not one of you noticed my name?” Christina taunted with a smirk.

“What!?” Christina’s design had actually been selected?

“No! That’s impossible! There’s no way you made the cut! Every single honor you’ve ever gotten was because you cheated! You don’t have an ounce of real talent!” Katie snapped, refusing to believe it.

The truth was, Katie had secretly submitted her own entries, only to face rejection. How could a mere housewife like Christina possibly outshine her?

“Whether I was picked or not, why don’t you go check again?” Christina replied with a cool smile.

Ynda’s face drained of color, her fists balling tightly at her sides. How could Christina have been chosen? Yet with the certainty in Christina’s eyes, it didn’t look like she was lying at all. Why did it always feel like Christina could do everything—and do it better than her? Could it really be that the Global Fashion Design Competition would turn into another stage where Christina eclipsed herpletely, leaving no chance to fight back?

“Katie, pull up the official website and see if her name and design are there,” Brendon instructed calmly.

Watching Christina’s poised and confident smile, he found himself believing she really might have been selected.

In his eyes, she had always been dull and ordinary. So why was she beginning to look more radiant and captivating than ever?
