Chapter 1082

    ?Chapter 1082:

“Yes, I can see you too,” Christina replied with a gentle smile of her own.

Dn tilted his head slightly, his voice tinged with yful curiosity. “Chrissie, what took you so long to respond to my messages?”

His puzzled expression was almost too endearing to bear. Christina answered lightly, “I was in the middle of something.”

“What was it?” Dn pressed, his eyes filled with curiosity.

Christina quickly shifted the topic. “Nothing important. Let me show you the wedding—it’s so lively here.”

With that, she turned the camera to the rear, giving him a view of the bustling festivities.

“I don’t want to see them. I want to see you,” Dn said, his expression soft and pleading.

“Didn’t you say you wanted to watch the wedding?” Christina asked, her brow furrowing slightly. Hadn’t he been insistent about tagging along to witness the wedding atmosphere? Why the sudden change?

“You’re a greater sight to behold. I only want to look at you,” Dn insisted firmly.

Left with no other choice, Christina turned the camera back toward herself. The moment Dn saw her face again, his aggrieved look instantly melted into a radiant smile.

After chatting for a while, Christina finally ended the call and turned her attention back to the wedding.

Once Christina drove back and stepped out of the car, Dn came running toward her.

“You’re back, Chrissie.” Dn bent down slightly, wrapping his arms tightly around her, resting his chin on her shoulder. “Chrissie, I missed you so much.”

Dn realized that ying the fool had its own advantages. It gave him the freedom to show his longing openly without restraint, and Christina wouldn’t think it strange at all. If he could, he would have kept up the pretense forever. But deep down, he knew it couldn’tst. Sooner orter, he would slip, and once Christina saw through his charade, she would be furious. He knew he needed to return to his normal self soon, though he didn’t want to.

At the thought, Dn tightened his hold on Christina, pulling her even closer.

“Hey, hey, hey! You little fool! Hands off her!” Robin stepped forward, yanking Dn away from Christina, clear annoyance etched across his face. “You don’t seem much like a fool right now. In fact, you look pretty sharp to me.” Robin eyed Dn suspiciously, unaware that his guess was right on target.

“He’s so scary,” Dn said in a mock-frightened tone, ducking behind Christina as though hiding.<fnf71c> Official source is Find~Novel</fnf71c>

“Robin, you’re being mean! Bullying my brother like this? Just wait—once he is back to his normal self, you might be the one in trouble,” Chloe scolded, nting her hands on her hips, her cheeks puffed out in indignation.

“Me, bullying him? Please!” Robin scoffed. Yet, in his heart, he admitted he was indeed seizing the chance to yfully mess around with Dn. After all, Dn was the man who had once stood at the pinnacle, out of reach for nearly everyone. If he didn’t seize the moment now, he might never get another chance.
