Chapter 1041

    ?Chapter 1041:

At the garage, Dn sat quietly in the passenger seat, a soft smile tugging at his lips as his eyes lingered on Christina.

When Christina noticed his seatbelt hanging loose, she leaned forward at once to fasten it for him.

As she bent over his chest, Dn’s mouth curled into the faintest of smiles. His heart thudded harder, beyond his control, and his throat moved in a nervous swallow.

Once she had secured the belt, she began to sit back, but her hand slipped, and she toppled into his arms, bringing them close enough to feel each other’s breath. Her pulse raced, her earlobes flushed red, and heat crept across her cheeks.

Dn caught hold of her arm firmly. Their gazes collided, his looking down as hers lifted to meet his. Their breaths mingled, and the nearness carried each other’s distinct scent, stirring a dangerous spark of desire between them. Their hearts hammered wildly, and their lungs struggled for steady air.

    “Chrissie, be careful,”.

Dn said first, masking the unevenness of his breathing.

    “Thank you,”.

Christina murmured, sitting upright in a rush while subtly evening her breath. She turned the key, started the car, and forced her focus entirely onto the road.

Dn, however, continued to study her. His smile stretched wider, warm and unguarded. His Chrissie was utterly enchanting. The more time he spent with her, the closer they grew, the harder it became to ever imagine letting her go. He yearned to keep her beside him always, to see every wonder of the world with her, to grow old with her hand in his.

More than half an hourter, Dn and Christina carried the bags of groceries back into the estate.

Dn appearedpliant, sticking to Christina’s side every step of the way.

“Wow, you both must be exhausted. I’ll have the chef take care of this,”.

Chloe said, ready to call the chef.

    M??? ?ρ????? ?? ?????ν???.???

    “I’ll do it,”.

    Dn suddenly interjected.

Every head immediately swiveled toward him.

Robin’s eyes swept Dn up and down. Then, he muttered, “You’ve gone slow. Could you even cook? You’d probably torch the whole kitchen.”

Robin surmised that if Dn had forgotten how to cook as well, he wouldn’t just make a mess—he might wreck the entire ce.<fn49c2> Get full chapters from Find[?]ovel</fn49c2>

    “I can cook,”.

Dn answered firmly, his clear eyes brimming with resolve.

Robinughed, bursting with delight. “If you want to cook, then go ahead. If you botch it, even better—I’ll look like the better chef.”

Robin still hadn’t tracked down ine. Now with Dn not himself, Robin figured that if Dn had lost his old edge, beating him in cooking would be a breeze.

“Lower your voice. Is that really something to brag about?”.

Christina said, ncing at Robin with a teasing smile. “What kind of achievement is it to outdo the muddled Dn?”

Robin flushed with embarrassment at her yful remark. But he quickly rallied to defend himself. “Why not? As long as I don’t think it’s shameful.”
