Chapter 1031

    ?Chapter 1031:

With augh, Dn waved off the worry. “If it’s gone, I’ll just get you a new one. No big deal.”

A soft chuckle escaped her lips. “Shopping has worn me out. I’d rather go back now.”

    “Of course.”.

Producing his tinum card, Dn handed it over to the sales clerk for the purchase.

All the way to the door, the sales staff bid them goodbye with cheerful enthusiasm, treating them as though they were special guests.

Not far from the entrance of INQ mall, Christina’s eyes lingered on a gleaming Koenigsegg that zipped past for a brief moment.

With shopping bags in one hand, Dn reached for her hand and shed a grin. “Come on, let’s get moving.”<fne5b6> N?w ?ovel chapt?rs are published on ?ovelFind</fne5b6>

That gesture left Christina puzzled for a moment, until she recalled her fleeting nce at the supercar. Curiosity got the better of her. “Wait, where are we going? You’re not thinking of buying me a supercar, are you?”.

She had only nced at it by ident! She didn’t want a supercar…

A yful glint appeared in Dn’s eye as he slowed, looking over his shoulder. “Why not? If you’re interested, I’ll get it for you.”

Hearing these words, Christina felt her defenses crumble a little. Honestly, what woman could say no to a handsome man making such an offer, especially when his smile was so tender? Something had changed in Dn after his amnesia; the warmth in his smile felt almost boyish.

Christina had no idea that his warm, charming smile was the result of constant effort. He’d spent time practicing smiling in front of the mirror each day and even scrolled through videos to learn how to make his smile look effortlessly appealing.

He still remembered that Christina had said he looked handsome whenever he smiled. Yet, whenever he faced the mirror, his own smile seemed forced and uneasy. Determined to change that, he’d practiced tirelessly until he learned to control his expressions and smile with ease.

Fortunately, his relentless practice paid off, allowing him to feign ignorance and amnesia convincingly. Without all that practice, Christina might have soon caught on that something wasn’t right.

Leaning close, Christina lowered her voice. “You really don’t need to buy one for me. There are more supercars in your garage than you could ever drive.”

A moment passed as Dn halted, adopting a puzzled look. “Is that so?”

A hint ofughter sparkled in her eyes. “Don’t tell me you forgot you’re loaded?”

Head tilted, Dn responded with a gentle nod, giving off an air of innocent confusion. “Yeah.”

Yet, Christina shot him a look, her suspicion barely hidden. “Funny how you remember your premium credit card when it’s time to pay.”

Dn shifted uneasily under Christina’s steady gaze, his heartbeat thundering as if it might burst right out of his chest. “There’s money here,”.

he said, pointing toward the sleek premium credit card while blinking at her with innocent eyes.

As he spoke, he slipped his hand into Christina’s. “Chrissie, let’s buy it.”
