Chapter 1027

    ?Chapter 1027:

    “I’m your friend,”.

Christina said with a small, forced smile. Straightening, she extended her hand. “Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Christina Jones.”

“Chrissie? Isn’t that the name of a flower?”.

Dn asked, frowning slightly as he scratched his head in confusion.

Christina let out a softugh. “Not Chrissie—it’s Christina.”

Pulling out her phone, she typed her name on the screen and held it up for him.

    “Oh! So you’re Christina…”.

Dn murmured, his eyes lighting with anticipation, as though

There was something Dn wanted to say, but he didn’t quite dare.

“Whatever it is, just say it,”.

Christina urged, sensing his hesitation. “It’s alright.”

A faint smile tugged at his lips, tinged with embarrassment. “Can I call you Chrissie?”

“Of course. It sounds sweet, and it’s just for you—no one else calls me that,”.

Christina answered with a gentle curve of her lips.

    “Really?”.

Dn’s eyes widened with childlike surprise.

    “Yes,”.

    Christina replied firmly, nodding.

Without warning, he wrapped his arms around her, his voice bursting with joyous excitement. “Chrissie, Chrissie—you’re my Chrissie!”

For a moment, Christina was struck silent. Yet, she didn’t push him away.

Something in her told her Dn wasn’t just amnesiac—his mind seemed caught in a childlike state, fragile and unmoored.

As she wrestled with the thought, his eager voice rose again, brimming with anticipation. “What’s my name, then?”.

He stared at her intently, dark eyes wide and blinking expectantly.

Christina found herself struggling to resist the pull of his innocent, concentrated gaze, especially when hisshes fluttered faintly. Her heart faltered for a beat before surging into a frantic, pounding rhythm.

    “Your name is Dn Scott,”.

Christina said softly, showing him the name typed on her phone.

    “Oh…”.

Dn drew out the sound, as though savoring it. Then, his head lifted suddenly, his dark eyes locking on hers with surprising intensity.

“Could you call me Dn? Call me like a close friend?”.

His gaze clung to her, steady and full of hope.

Christina was momentarily taken aback—the closeness between Dn and her felt almost too intimate. Yet, when her eyes met his expectant gaze, she found herself unable to deny him. Her lips quivered faintly as she whispered, “Alright.”

    “Chrissie,”.

Dn called, his voiceced with eager warmth, his eyes shining with anticipation.<fn8c19> Find the newest release on find(?)ovel</fn8c19>

Christina’s lips trembled again; she couldn’t exin why speaking Dn’s name suddenly felt awkward and heavy on her tongue. Perhaps it was the charged atmosphere, or maybe it was the way Dn’s gaze clung to her, so intent that it made her restless.
