Chapter 1025

    ?Chapter 1025:

Letting out a weary sigh, Brendon finally turned and pulled Ynda into his arms, his voice softening. “Sorry for being impatient with you earlier.”

“It’s alright. I understand you’re upset. If it helps, I’ll do whatever you need. I don’t mind your temper at all,”.

Ynda said, burying her face against his chest. She clung to him tightly, as if she never intended to let go.

Brendon felt a pang of remorse twist in his chest. How could he have treated Ynda so poorly, all because of a fickle woman like Christina? Ynda was gentle, considerate, and endlessly graceful, always putting his needs before her own. He had mistreated her earlier.

“I’m sorry, Ynda. When we get back, we’ll start nning the wedding,”.

Brendon said softly, his voice filled with tenderness.

    “Really?”.

Ynda lifted her gaze to him, her eyes shimmering with tears and longing.

Meeting her earnest stare, Brendon felt the weight of guilt settle heavily on his heart. He should never have let his affections wander—he couldn’t betray someone as good as Ynda.

“Yes. I will keep my word,”.

he murmured, drawing her into a tight embrace, as if sealing his vow with his arms.

Even so, his thoughts strayed, his eyes wandering toward the path Christina had disappeared down. She had left without even a backward nce. Would she regret it when she learned of his impending marriage?

As that thought flickered, Brendon added firmly, “Ynda, once we’re back, I’ll make a grand announcement. Everyone will know I’m marrying you—the love of my life.”<fn141d> ???? ????s? ???????s ?? FindN()vel</fn141d>

Though the words sounded like a promise to Ynda, they echoed just as much like a reminder to himself.

“I’m finally going to marry you, Brendon. I’m so happy. I love you so much,”.

Ynda whispered with a sweet smile, though inside, she let out a quiet sigh of relief. As long as she secured the marriage, it didn’t matter if another woman still lingered in his heart.

What she wanted most was his wealth and connections. She needed to secure King’s treatment for her illness, and she craved the fortune that came with being Brendon’s wife.

Christina had been foolish enough to walk away with only a modest settlement. Ynda would never make that mistake. If she were ever to divorce, she would ensure she imed half the Dawson family’s fortune. She would not, under any circumstances, be as foolish as Christina.

When Christina returned, Dn had already been transferred to a VIP ward. His wounds were mostly superficial, aside from a more serious concussion.

Once he regained consciousness, he would have to remain in the hospital under observation for some time.

After everyone else had left, Christina was alone in the room with him. The wound on Dn’s head had been treated and wrapped in bandages, but he still hadn’t stirred.

Standing by the window, she pulled out her phone and called Davina. “Davina, it’ll be a while before I cane back. Please spend some extra time with Bethel. Yes, I know, I’ll take care of myself. You must, too.”
