Chapter 1024

    ?Chapter 1024:

Before Brendon could react, a furious voice interrupted. “What do you think you’re doing?”

Ynda stormed toward them, her face twisted in anger, ready to rip Christina apart.

When Ynda saw them together, shepletely lost control. She lifted her hand, aiming to p Christina.

But Christina was quicker. She caught Ynda’s wrist mid-air and forcefully pushed her arm aside without hesitation.

“Why don’t you keep an eye on your man and make sure he doesn’t bother me again?”.

Christina said, her irritation clear. Without looking back, she walked away, her thoughts consumed with Dn’s condition, fearing it might worsen.

Brendon stood still, watching her retreat, his every instinct telling him to follow her. But just as he made a move, Ynda stepped in front of him, blocking his path. Tears welled in her eyes as she looked up at him.

“Brendon, what’s going on with you and Christina? Are you thinking of getting back together with her?”.

Ynda asked, her voice breaking as sobs wracked her body. The agony in her cry might have moved him in another moment, but now, all he could see was the wild, twisted look she’d had earlier. She looked nothing like the woman he thought he knew—a far cry from the gentle woman he had always imagined. For a fleeting moment, he wondered if he had ever truly known her at all.

    “No, Ynda,”.

Brendon sighed, his frustration barely hidden. “You’re just reading too much into it.”

“But I saw you hug her. Are you honestly saying there’s nothing between you two?”.

Ynda asked, tears streaming down her face.

Brendon’s patience was wearing thin, and Ynda’s tears, which once tugged at his heart, now only irritated him. “If you’re going to believe that, I can’t change your mind,”.

he replied, his voiceced with frustration. With that, he turned to leave.

Panic surged in Ynda’s chest as she watched him walk away. She waited for a while, but he showed no sign of turning back tofort her. The fear of losing him overwhelmed her, and without thinking, she rushed forward and wrapped her arms around him from behind, refusing to let go.

Right now, Brendon was herst hope, and she couldn’t afford to lose him. Regret washed over her as she realized she had let her emotions spiral out of control earlier, likely pushing him further away.

“Brendon, I’m so sorry. It’s all my fault. Please, don’t be angry. I never meant to use you. I just love you too much. I’m sorry. I’m really, really sorry…”.

Ynda’s apology spilled out, her voice trembling with desperation.

Brendon’s resolve wavered. He reminded himself that Ynda was the woman he’d chosen, the one he’d always pictured as his future wife.

As Brendon thought of Christina’s cold demeanor and Ynda’s unwavering devotion, he couldn’t help but be drawn to Ynda. Only Ynda would stand by him unconditionally, giving him her whole heart without asking for anything in return. Christina, on the other hand, was always surrounded by other men and would never be as devoted to him as Ynda was. Maybe Christina had found someone better, which would exin why she’d grown distant and impatient with him.
