Chapter 1253 - 1262

Chapter 1253: Chapter 1262

Ming Chong looked at those Crystal Jades in horror, his face full of grievance.

Chu Ge raised his hand and touched his head, saying, "Alright, be careful next time. You can’t touch these things, understand?"

Ming Chong dumbly nodded, said nothing, just red angrily at those Crystal Jades, then turned and left.

After Ming Chong left, Chu Ge was puzzled. He raised his hand and gently touched those Crystal Jades, but did not feel the irresistible force from before.

But just now, Ming Chong looked as if he was being sucked in.

What on earth is going on?

Thinking for a long time, Chu Ge couldn’t figure it out, so he lightly shook his head and then put the Crystal Jades away.

Chu Ge carried the Crystal Jades out of the bar while driving back to the vi, he put the Crystal Language away, suddenly feeling that something seemed amiss around.

As he was storing the Crystal Jades, he felt a dangerous aura flowing around him, casually nced at the window, and continued with his tasks.

After putting away the Crystal Jades, Chu Ge walked to the balcony, looking down at the empty yard, a mocking smile tugged at his lips, "Come out."

For a moment, no one appeared.

Chu Ge’s sneer deepened, he snorted coldly, directly circting True Qi, and a mass of mist the size of a basketball condensed in his palm, then he hurled it downwards.

True Qi centered around Chu Ge and spread out, causing ripples in the air.

Soon, those hiding in the dark were shaken out by Chu Ge.

They rolled on the ground in agony, while others who hadn’t been affected leapt out and pointed at Chu Ge, cursing, "Chu Ge, you despicable scum!"

Chu Ge looked at them with amusement, these people wore Huaxia clothes but spoke in awkward Chinese, clearly foreigners.

And among foreigners who had grievances with him, the only ones he could think of were the Japanese.

    "Who sent you?"

    Chu Ge asked coolly.

"It doesn’t matter who sent us, today is your death day!"

As they spoke, each drew a long sword, surrounding Chu Ge in a tight formation.

Chu Ge narrowed his eyes. It seemed they had bypassed his Array; the only one familiar enough to do that was Zhang Ze.

It appeared Zhang Ze had deciphered his Array, truly a genius youth, finally starting to act after so much patience.

Chu Ge snorted coldly, in his palm, a sharp sword materialized, "Where is Zhang Ze, why doesn’t hee out to face me himself?"

The leader was visibly startled, not expecting Chu Ge to guess their identity; he snorted, "You think you can match our genius youth? Fight us first!"

Chu Ge raised his eyes to nce at him coolly, "It seems you aren’t aware Zhang Ze has failed against me multiple times, I broke his arm, did he never mention it to you?"

The leader’s face turned green, he pursed his lips, ring behind at Chu Ge, "Stop talking nonsense, prepare to die."

With that, they all charged forward, but Chu Ge never truly regarded them as threats. As they lunged, he leapt from the balcony onto the roof.

    And they followed him up.

These people were evidently more skilled than the previous groups, unfortunate for them; to Chu Ge, they were still no match.

But what puzzled Chu Ge was that these people weren’t using traditional Ninja Skills, they wanted a head-on confrontation.

Chu Ge felt a trace of doubt. Though they aimed to kill him, their moves seemed reserved.

As he pondered, his sword struck down one attacker.

Chu Ge raised his eyes coldly, a bad premonition surged.

Though they wanted his life, they seemed to be stalling.

Chu Ge narrowed his eyes, stopped holding back, almost every strikeid someone down.

With them about to fall, Chu Ge suddenly leapt back to the balcony, and sure enough, saw someone rummaging in his study.

The intruders realized Chu Ge was back, immediately on guard, drawing long swords in a defensive stance.

"So much effort, what are you trying to find?"

    Chu Ge asked.

"Stop talking nonsense, prepare to die!"

One attacked; before his sword fell, Chu Ge parried with a swipe.

The man staggered back from Chu Ge’s Sword Qi, chest aching, blood rising to his throat.

Chu Ge coldly raised his eyes, "What did youe for?"

The ones from the roof quickly scrambled to the balcony. The leader, realizing their true intent was exposed, angrily said, "Chu Ge, I advise you to hand over the Sword Soul, or today will be your death day."

Chu Ge suddenly realized they were after the Sword Soul again.

"The Demon Sword isn’t in your hands, why worry about the Sword Soul?"

Chu Ge scoffed, "You think you can defeat me?"

"Whether we can or not, try us!"

The leader despised Chu Ge’s arrogance, gritted his teeth, remembering how manyrades had fallen to Chu Ge; hatred as vast as rushing water filled his heart.

Chu Ge chuckled lightly, "You seem confident, but unfortunately, you won’t get the Sword Soul, you’ll lose your lives here instead!"

With those words, he swung his sword, Sword Qi radiated grandly, spreading out.

Seeing no chance to dodge, they could only block with their swords, yet some couldn’t withstand the Sword Qi.

Chu Ge raised his eyes coldly at the leader, "Still think you can win?"

    He approached, step by step.

The leader swallowed hard. Unwilling to admit defeat, yet tasked to retreat if failing his orders.

Now, realizing he was no match for Chu Ge, he red with resentment, "Chu Ge, we’ll see each other again!"

Suddenly, he revealed two Smoke Bombs, throwing them at Chu Ge’s feet.

Chu Ge stepped back, and as the smoke cleared, the intruders were gone.
