Chapter 1590

    ?Chapter 1590:

Dominic flipped frantically to the appendix. Photos spilled across the pages—dozens of candid shots of Chris in different ces, being intimate with different women. The evidence was there, captured in the dim glow of a nightclub and under the harsh lights outside a luxury hotel in the early hours. A few frames even showed him in close, seemingly intimate conversation with rising starlets. The images were grainy, but the yboy confidence and careless charm leaped off the page.

Dominic’s face twisted with rage, boiling over like a storm at sea.

“Bastard,” he hissed, low and venomous.

He jerked his head up, gaze locking onto Chris in the distance—now on his phone, still standing close to Maia. Moments ago, Dominic had thought him promising. Now he saw only a handsome predator, a heartless womanizer who used his looks to toy with naive girls.

Dominic’s jaw clenched so hard his teeth ground audibly. His chest heaved with furious breaths.

    Atst, the pressure burst.

“That son of a bitch!” he bellowed. “He’s nothing but a skirt-chasing lowlife!”

Dominic’s heart churned with conflicting emotions, sinking deeper into despair by the second.

The Cooper family was corrupt to its core—not a single honorable person among them. Even an illegitimate Cooper was no different; every one of them rotten beyond redemption. A poisonous bloodline like that deserved to be wiped out entirely.

And yet Maia—so innocent, so remarkable—had somehow be entangled with Chris. How could that be possible? She must have been fooled by that scoundrel’s silver tongue and handsome face.

    ??????d ??? ??n?? d??v???e ???? ?????????????????.??o??

    Impossible. Absolutely impossible.

He had failed his own daughter once before. As Maia’s grandfather, he could not bear to see history repeat itself. He would not stand by and watch her fall into a trap. What was more, Maia was meant to inherit the future of the Watson family. How could he allow a notorious bastard to smear their reputation?

This could not be allowed to continue.

The papers in Dominic’s hand crumpled violently, the thin sheets letting out a sharp rustle as they were crushed into a ball.

Just then, the Major who had delivered the documents came rushing back, breathing hard. His face was pale with panic as he clutched a slim folder and presented it with both hands.

“This… this was just retrieved from the City Hall database. It was my mistake—I overlooked something this critical earlier.” He lowered his head, bracing himself for Dominic’s wrath.

    “City Hall?”

Dominic froze, his heart skipping a beat. What was this supposed to mean? Could it be that the scoundrel was already married?

The audacity. Married—and still daring to deceive Maia?

For a split second, Dominic felt the urge to draw his gun and shoot Chris on the spot. He inhaled deeply, forcing himself to rein in his rage. Then again, for a notorious womanizer, marrying early wasn’t exactly shocking. Still—infuriating.

Today, he would expose Chris’s true nature in front of Maia once and for all.

Dominic snatched the file and flipped it open, his eyes sharp and unforgiving.

In the marital status column, a single word leapt out: Married.

It was as if something detonated in his mind, his chest tight with uncontroble fury. His worst fear hade true. Chris was married—and yet he still openly pursued his granddaughter?

    Shameless. Absolutely shameless.

“You—” Dominic snapped, ring at the Major with an expression cold enough to freeze blood.
