Chapter 1780 - 1781: Xiang Yu Wakes Up for No Reason

Chapter 1780: Chapter 1781: Xiang Yu Wakes Up for No Reason

After hanging up the phone, Liu Yuhang sat there dumbfounded, thinking about whether to tell Tie Zhuzi and the others about Xiang Yu’s condition when they arrived.

If he told them that Xiang Yu was in critical condition and might not be saved, with Tie Zhuzi’s stubbornness, he’d definitely seek revenge on the other party.

For even the top brass of the military to take this so seriously, Xiang Yu’s injury is definitely not minor.

"Should I tell them or not?" Liu Yuhang murmured to himself while sitting there.

    "Tell them what?"

"Whether or not I should tell Brother Yu’s current situation to him," Liu Yuhang replied.

After he answered, he suddenly froze, realizing that there were only he and Xiang Yu in the room. Who was speaking then?

He turned his head, staring nkly at Xiang Yu, who was lying calmly on the bed, stretchingzily.

"How did I end up here? That was such a good sleep," Xiang Yu saidzily.

Liu Yuhang didn’t say anything; he just sat there looking at Xiang Yu.

"What’s wrong? Is there something up?" Xiang Yu asked when he noticed Liu Yuhang’s unusual gaze.

"Brother Yu, is it really you? Am I not dreaming?" Liu Yuhang couldn’t believe his eyes, then suddenly burst intoughter.

"What’s up with you, kid? Have you gone nuts?" Xiang Yu said, sitting up.

"No, haha, Brother Yu, you’re truly a miracle," Liu Yuhang said, feeling so good he wanted to break out in song.

"Of course, I’m a miracle," Xiang Yu said without asking further, then added, "Get me a ss of water; I’m a bit thirsty."

"Alright," Liu Yuhang cheerfully agreed, then quickly went to pour some water.

Liu Yuhang came back with the water and stood there staring dumbfounded at Xiang Yu. He still couldn’t understand how Xiang Yu woke up.

Based on his years of medical experience, Xiang Yu had little chance of waking up. Part of Xiang Yu’s brain had suffered nerve damage.

"Snap out of it, kid. Sit down," Xiang Yu said, sipping his water.

Only then did Liu Yuhang nod dazedly, pulling up a chair to sit by the bed.

After Xiang Yu drank the water, heid back down on the bed.

"Brother Yu, don’t sleep," Liu Yuhang quickly said.

"I’m not sleepy, just lying down to rest a bit," Xiang Yu replied.

Liu Yuhang was genuinely worried that if Xiang Yuid down, he’d never wake up again. His concern was that Xiang Yu might be in a temporary recovery phase.

"Tell me what’s going on, and why am I here?" Xiang Yu asked while lying down with his legs crossed.

Liu Yuhang stared unblinkingly at Xiang Yu, and just as he was about to speak, his phone rang; it was Tie Zhuzi calling.

"What’s going on?" Tie Zhuzi asked anxiously, "Why are there so many soldiers outside the damn hospital?"

Only then did Liu Yuhang remember that their hospital was already surrounded by the military, and any exit or entry required approval from their superiors.

"Brother Yu, Zhuzi and the others are here. I’ll go down to meet them now; please don’t fall asleep," Liu Yuhang said.

Although Xiang Yu didn’t understand why Liu Yuhang was so tense, he still nodded and said, "Go ahead."

After speaking, Xiang Yu got out of bed and went to the window, seeing the area packed with people, all armed soldiers standing guard.

Recollecting the events, Xiang Yu remembered being injected with something, feeling severe head pain before passing out, and waking up here.

A few minutester, Liu Yuhang came running up with Tie Zhuzi and two others.

After reaching the top, the three were gasping for breath, half-squatting to catch it.

"I say, Liu Yuhang, you son of a gun, why were you running? Brother Yu is right here; he’s not going anywhere," Tie Zhuzi said irritably.

Liu Yuhang remained silent, feeling relieved that Xiang Yu was standing there perfectly fine.

"Why were you running?" Xiang Yu asked with augh, looking at them.

After taking a moment to rx, they finally sat down.

"Brother Yu, it’s so good to see you," Tie Zhuzi said, chuckling as he sat there.

"Yuhang, tell us what’s going on," Xiang Yu said, looking at him.

Liu Yuhang nodded and recounted everything he knew.

"You mean Number One arranged for me to be brought here?" Xiang Yu asked.

Liu Yuhang quickly nodded, "That’s right, I just saw him a moment ago. He looked anxious, hoping you’d wake up soon, Brother Yu."

After hearing this, Xiang Yu nodded. After being injected by Rff, he had no recollection of Number One rescuing him.

Tie Zhuzi, oblivious to the dangers Xiang Yu faced, excitedly said, "Brother Yu, now that you’ve made contact with Number One, quickly get in touch with him and have him release Rumus."

The others weren’t as optimistic, but Wu Jing frowned and asked, "Brother Yu, how did you pass out, and why was Number One so urgent to save you?"

Only then did everyone turn their attention to Xiang Yu, realizing they’d missed this point.

Xiang Yu exined the events leading up to everything, leaving everyone tense with fear.

Tie Zhuzi was enraged, standing up and cursing, "That son of a bitch, I’m going to tear Rff to pieces."

Tie Zhuzi was too agitated, raising his voice, and Xiang Yu quickly stopped him.

Fortunately, it was nighttime with no one around; if outsiders overheard Tie Zhuzi wanting to rip apart the number two military figure, it would shock many.

"The situation isplicated, and we can’t act rashly," Xiang Yu said cautiously.

Everyone nodded, but Liu Yuhang sat there, hesitant to speak.

"Just say it if you have something to say," Xiang Yu said, looking at him.

"Brother Yu, I want to ask you something," Liu Yuhang said, a bit shy.

He was now entirely sure that Xiang Yu wasn’t experiencing a temporary recovery; he was genuinely better.

"You’re a grown man; why are you hesitating? Just speak up," Tie Zhuzi said impatiently.

"I’ve already examined you; you have a neural defect in your brain, an injury. You shouldn’t even be awake. So why..."

The question puzzled Liu Yuhang since it defied medical exnation.

With a simple smile, Xiang Yu replied, "As for the exact reason, I’m not sure either, but I can tell you something: I’ve undergone training in this area before. The brain injury you see may not be from this incident at all but might have existed before."

Liu Yuhang seemed to have a sudden realization; if the brain injury wasn’t recent, then everything could be exined.

However, the three others sat silently, with an indescribable sorrow on their faces.

Xiang Yu not only had scars all over his body but even inside his head, indicating a brutal past.

Seeing their mood drop, Xiang Yu smiled and said, "Don’t worry, I’m fine, and it doesn’t hurt anyway."
