Chapter 1774 - 1775: Xiang Yu Will Become an Imbecile

Chapter 1774: Chapter 1775: Xiang Yu Will Be an Imbecile

In Rff’s underground office, a man in a white coat was preparing to inject Xiang Yu with the serum.

"How much longer?" Rff asked with a bit of urgency.

He kept feeling that things were getting moreplicated, so these steps had to be carried out immediately.

"Almost done," one of the men in white replied.

At that moment, someone rushed over and stood in front of Rff, saying, "Report, Chief. Number One is here to take someone, iming to want to take the assassin away."

Upon hearing this, Rff quickly shouted to the man in white, "Start the injection now."

The man in white was a bit anxious and said, "Injecting now would be very dangerous."

"I don’t care, do it quickly," Rff snapped before heading directly into the surveince room.

The room remained empty except for him. Everyone else knew that Rff had secrets to ask Xiang Yu, so no one else entered.

Xiang Yu was exhausted from being suspended there, and upon seeing the man in white enter, heughed, saying, "Damn it, are you using me as a guinea pig again, experimenting on me? I’m telling you, this drug won’t work on me, so don’t waste your time."

Before Xiang Yu could finish, the man in white jabbed the syringe into Xiang Yu’s neck.

Xiang Yu knew what the drug was; his sole goal was to hold on to his thoughts.

As the serum entered his body, Xiang Yu felt his body bing light, as if he were about to float away.

Soon after, his mind began to blur, the drug moving directly into his head.

"Why did youe here? Why do you want to see Ailock? What’s your purpose?" Seeing Xiang Yu start to get drowsy, Rff pursued his questioning.

Xiang Yu instinctively resisted, but the drug had seized control of his nerves, and his mouth wouldn’t obey him.

"I dide here with a purpose," Xiang Yu mumbled, his head bowed.

Seeing this method was effective, Rff smiled before continuing to ask, "Why are you doing everything you can to see Ailock?"

"Because I have a connection with him," Xiang Yu said, head bowed.

"What kind of connection? Speak quickly," Rff urged, a bit impatiently.

"I’m his uncle. Back when he was downtrodden, I gave him ten bucks, which gave him hope to survive. Now that he’s made it, he’s forgotten about me, his uncle," Xiang Yu mumbled.

"What, you’re his uncle?" Rff asked skeptically.

"That’s right," Xiang Yu replied unconsciously.

"Nonsense!" Rff couldn’t hold back his anger any longer and shouted.

As things stood, Ailock was far older than Xiang Yu, more like Xiang Yu’s uncle.

Rff felt agitated; what a mess this turned out to be.

It was clear Xiang Yu had already lost his conscious awareness, but for some unknown reason, he imed he was Ailock’s uncle.

"What is your main purpose for being here?" Rff asked stubbornly again.

"He owes me from back then, and now he should repay me," Xiang Yu mumbled, head bowed.

"Ah..." Suddenly, Xiang Yu’s head began to ache with intensity.

In Rff’s room, the man in white burst in suddenly and said, "Chief, I think he’s done for, almost certainly a failure."

Rff stood there watching Xiang Yu scream, then scoffed coldly, "Your form disappoints me greatly."

    He turned and headed outside.

The two men in white exchanged nces, sighed, and then headed toward Xiang Yu’s room.

They had conducted experiments on thousands of people without a single failure, and they hadn’t expected today’s oue to be different.

The two entered the room and released Xiang Yu.

After being set down, Xiang Yu curled up on the floor holding his head and screaming; the drug was directly stimting his brain.

It did significant harm to the brain’s nerves.

"What should we do with him?" one man in white asked.

"How should I know?" the other replied. "No matter what we do with him, this person is undoubtedly ruined, if not a fool, then a vegetable."

The two shook their heads and left Xiang Yu there, unattended.

Rff returned to his surface-level office. His guard approached him cautiously, "Chief, Number One’s people are still waiting outside."

Rff merely nodded without any reaction, just then two men in white entered and stood there respectfully.

"You said he would be a fool?" Rff questioned the two.

"Most likely, I’m very confident in our drug," one of them replied.

"Most likely," Rff said, frowning as he looked at them. "So, not one hundred percent."

Though Rff had long been in high positions of power, just a nce from him could make the two men in white tremble all over.

At that moment, someone rushed in from outside and came into Rff’s office, saluting before speaking anxiously, "Chief, they say if we don’t hand him over, they’ll break in."

Outside, the tall guy and his team had already drawn weapons and disarmed their safeties.

Since Number One sent him in with the military, this possibility was naturally anticipated. Since Number One expected it, the tall guy was even less likely to hesitate.

"Prepare," the tall guymanded from up front. If they continued to resist handover, he would charge right in.

"Charge," the tall guy shouted, leaping forward first.

Seeing this, Rff’s guards flipped off their submachine gun safeties, about to open fire.

"Stop!" someone suddenly shouted from behind.

Upon hearing the shout, everyone froze in ce. They had no intention of actually resorting to violence.

After all, this was a politically sensitive area, and starting a war here would ruin the nation’s reputation.

The tall guy signaled Number One’s troops to halt and looked toward the source of the shout.

Four men emerged from inside, all of them guards around Rff.

The four were dragging a man who was motionless with eyes closed, life or death unknown, it was Xiang Yu.

"The person you want, we’ve brought him here. Our Chief says he only wanted to question him, nothing more. If you need to say so, there is no need to go to such lengths," the man spoke, then tossed Xiang Yu directly toward the tall guy.

The tall guy quickly stepped forward to catch Xiang Yu, now knowing of Xiang Yu’s close ties with Number One, he didn’t want to hurt him because of himself.

Seeing it was Xiang Yu, the tall guy quickly carried him to the vehicle.

"Call the doctor to rescue him immediately," the tall guy instructed, cing Xiang Yu in the vehicle before driving away.

Meanwhile, on Rff’s office rooftop, he stood there watching the proceedings.

"Hmph, taking him back will only make him a fool." Rff scoffed dismissively.

He wasn’t worried about Ailock suspecting him, given his own important status, not even Ailock could touch him.

While in the car, the tall guy called Ailock rying the situation...
