Dennis spoke gravely, “I’ve seen it too, Lance. Fortunately, the notebook lists the origins of those she–wolves. We can dispatch people to inform their families one by one.”
“Have the teams sent to retrieve remains returned yet?” Lance asked.
“Not yet. The bodies were hidden at the bottom of a well. Some have descended into it, but they can’t retrieve any remains, and there’s more than one body. The decayed corpses are also hindering the search for other remains,” Dennis replied.
Lance said, “Has the forensic specialist arrived? Contact the Forensic Center and get more specialists out there to assist.”
“Already on it,” Dennis said.
“Good. What about the weapons inventory? I need to report to the pce,” Lance continued.
“It’s all been sorted out. Here’s the report,” Dennis said, hastily pulling a folder from the table and handing it to Lance.
Lance opened the folder and found a detailed record: 1,000 crossbows, five ballistae… 800 sets of full armor, three barrels of gunpowder, and over 1,000 other weapons.
The im that these were for mere manor defense wasughable.
Moreover, the control over armor was always strict–even the wolf pack of Lycan Erasmus’s own brother couldn’t legally possess such metal armor.
Otherwise, it was a vition, with consequences depending on how much was made of it.
While excuses might be found for other weapons, ballistae or metal armor alone were enough for a treason charge.
Lance said to Adide, “I’ll head to the pce. This evidence should be more than enough to strip her of her princess title.”
Once the princess title was revoked, she’d be reduced to amoner, and the interrogation methods could be more severe.
Speaking of interrogation, Madison knew the ins and outs better than anyone.

Adide said, “Go on. I’ll review other testimonies and investigate the nobles who’ve had frequent contact with Madison over the years.”
First on her list was Maya from the Blue Abyss Pack. Though not close to Madison during the Blue Ridge days, they’d visited her manor several times.
“Plus, both Germain and Madison were raised by Pandora. This connection means questioning them could unsettle Germain and make him regret returning to the capital,” Adide added. “If he’d stayed in Blue Ridge, this scandal might not have reached him.”
Lance nodded and headed to the pce with the two notebooks recorded by Rosa.
Lycan Erasmus scanned the weapons list and erupted in fury. “How dare Madison harbor such treachery and n rebellion?”
Fabian quickly stepped in. “Lycan Erasmus, please calm yourself!”
Lycan Erasmus, his face dark with anger, turned to Lance. “Interrogate her! By any means necessary, make her confess the mastermind behind this!”
Lance responded, “Lycan Erasmus, she’s still a princess. Royal family members can’t be tortured ording to the rules.”
Lycan Erasmus coldly ordered, “Revoke Madison’s princess title and expel her from the royal family.”
Fabian promptly left to arrange it.
Lance continued, “Lycan Erasmus, the other two notebooks detail the she–wolves Madison’s manor has abducted over the years–over 180 in total. More than 100 were brutally killed, with only around 40 still alive.”
“All male infants born were mercilessly ughtered, while female infants were raised andter integrated into noble families and powerful wolf packs. Unraveling all this will take time,” Lance added.
As Lycan Erasmus pored over the manuals, he felt a chill run down his spine.
A royal plotting treason was bad enough, butmitting such atrocities was a smear on the royal family.
He roared, “Inform Mallory to assist the Ministry of Justice in investigating these cases. Whether dead or alive, these she–wolves and their families deserve justice!” <fndc0c> ???? ????s? ???????s ?? findnovel</fndc0c>

and disclosed the Madison Manor affair, Germain had been on edge, like a frightened bird.
Without needing Raven’s persuasion, he knew better than to flee the capital back to Blue Ridge at such a critical moment–it would only raise suspicion.
Raven advised him to act as usual—enter the pce daily to care for Pandora, feign ignorance of external affairs, and keep his subordinates in the capital under tight control.
Outwardly, Germain appeared calm, but inwardly, he was in turmoil.
He wanted to gather information but had no idea where to start.
Those closely tied to Madison Manor were likely preupied with their own plights, and as a royal, Germain knew any reckless inquiry would invite trouble.
After much deliberation, he concluded that only his wife, Luna Sadi, could help him spy.
Sadi’s cousin, Paisley, was with the ckthorn Pack and close friends with Adide.
Thus, before entering the pce today<i>, </i>Germain visited Sadi’s room and said, “You must be bored here in the capital with no acquaintances. I recall you have a sister in ckthorn. Feel free to visit her and chat–perhaps even discreetly inquire about the Madison case. But tread lightly, lest you arouse suspicion.”
