    Third Person’s POV

Rosa forced a smile at Adide, more pathetic than a cry. “I’ve documented every single case. You must have thoroughly searched Madison’s manor by now, right? Outside the room where I stayed, there’s a tree, and beside it, a stone bench.”

“The bench is movable. Lift it, and beneath lies a box. Inside the box is a notebook where I’ve recorded everything.”

She ced her coffee cup down and let her hands slowly drop to her sides.

Her back, which she had been forcing herself to keep straight, finally copsed.

Tears streamed down her face as she choked out, “I won’t mention the breeders, but there are three infant boys that I can never get over.”

“The first one didn’t cry at birth. When I held him, he smiled at me–his gums were so pink. Have you ever seen a newborn not cry but smile? I’d never seen such a thing. I adored him. When he smiled, I smiled too……”

She covered her face with her hands, unable to continue. Her shoulders trembled uncontrobly.

    Adide clenched her fists.

She’d known all male infants in Madison’s manor met a grim fate–death.

These innocent lives were cruelly snuffed out the moment they glimpsed the world.

To harm a newborn required a venomous heart.

After a while, Rosa calmed down somewhat and spoke faster, “Madison didn’t like that smiling infant. The mother, despite her postpartum weakness, tried to seize her child and defied Madison. In a rage, Madison threw the baby to his death right in front of Hunt. As for the mother, her fingers and toes were chopped off, and she suffered for days before dying–it was

    me……”

“It was me who severed her fingers and toes, and it was me who killed that infant.”

“In the third year after that, twin boys were born. I held one in each arm and showed them to Madison, telling her I’d smother them outside. That was the first time I considered defying

    her.”

“I wanted to sneak the twins out and leave their fate to chance……but it failed.”

“Madison was in a foul mood that day, seeking an outlet for her anger…”

“No male infant survived. Not all female infants lived either–it all depended on Madison’s whim.”

Rosa had previously insisted she’d never speak ill of Madison.

    Yet now, she spilled all.

She loved Madison, but those three innocent children became an eternal guilt.

Adide’s rage threatened to consume her.

The more detailed Rosa’s ount, the more heartbreaking it was.

She struggled to contain her fury. Her cold pheromones wavered on the edge of control, betraying her only through the sweat on her fingertips.

She maintained aposed exterior, her pupils flickering between slits and human roundness in her struggle to stay calm.

Her nails dug half–moons into her palms.

She knew the more Rosa revealed, the more evidence there would be to uphold the charges against Madison–both treason and the atrocities against the women.

At the moment, her aura was like a frozenke–serene on the surface, yet seething beneath.

“I know Madison has no chance this time. She used to be so cheerful and lively…… But she fell for Alpha Bentley at first sight, and he, of all people, rejected her……”

“At first, all I wanted was to make her happy,” Rosa’s voice quivered.

Lost in memories, Rosa no longer cared who heard her.

She’d held these words in for too long, and now, the pent–up air in her chest escaped as pheromone ripples.

    Age had softened her heart.

What she once took for granted now haunted her, sending instinctive shivers down her spine.

Her pupils misted over, her werewolf eyes softening as if gazing through time at the past.

Her words were scattered, random, “As long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters. She’s the princess; she can do as she pleases. She cursed the royal family, ming them for destroying her happiness.”

Her sandalwood pheromones suddenly quickened. “That year, she knelt before her father, the former Lycan King, pleading to mate with Alpha Bentley. From dawn till dusk, and from dusk till sunrise the next day…”

Bitternessced her pheromones. “He still refused. How cruel.”

“The Lycan King always indulged her. It was just Alpha Bentley. Why wouldn’t he agree?”

“The person I hate the most in this world is Alpha Bentley.” She looked at Adide, her eyes brimming with loathing and hatred, yet her expression was tinged withplexity and contradiction.
