As a matter of fact, Analise had her own spections, but she couldn''t be sure about it.
Gideon nced at her when he said he hadn''t managed to develop a recement for Purification Potion, but he avoided her gaze almost immediately.
Her spection was so bold that she had to ce her hand on her chest.
He saw what she was doing, and his gaze flickered uncontrobly. "No!"
Judging by his reaction, Analise knew her hunch was right. However, she didn''t point it out. "Is it something that females possess?"
"Yes." Gideon turned his gaze away, deliberately avoiding her.
"Females? Are you talking about the calming ability? But it was a manifestation of mind essence, and it isn''t something that can be extracted like the other substances." Scott''s frown deepened when he heard Gideon''s response.
"It can be extracted, and he''s not talking about the calming ability," Analise said to Scott and sighed gently.
"Gideon, you''ve tried doing it before, haven''t you?" she asked again.
Gideon shook his head, not uttering a word.
"Look. We have a crisis on our hands..."
"No! I won''t do it!" Tears glinted in Gideon''s eyes.
Echo suddenly spoke up, "Oh, as expected, Gideon is truly intelligent. From the looks of it, he couldn''t bring himself to bleed you.
"Color me surprised. Not even the genius with a sharp mind and steadfast logic could escape the snares of love."
Echo was a little taken aback as it watched everything unfold..
"Female blood, especially that of pure human females, is the purest of all. Using it as a recement for Purification Serum is the smartest choice.
"However, it''s exceedingly rare that an ordinary pure-human female''s blood will do the job. I believe he has gone down that route and tried it.
"Analise, your body has blended with Purification Heart. I''d even say that the integration has reached 100% by now. Your blood would effortlessly rece Purification Serum, and it''s clear that he thought of it, too.
"Based on the situation in the Interster therian world, however, he will need to
draw two pints of your blood. And that might be fatal."
Scott noticed how Gideon bit his tongue, and he got infuriated. Hez was already busy with this matter recently, and pressure was building. Looking at Gideon now only @ritated him further.
Based on what Analise just said, she had given the potion she talked about to Gideon long ago. That also meant she hadplete faith in
him. Not even he or Fiy had gotten this kind of unchecked confidence from her.
With jealousy and pressure piling on his shoulders, even the usually warm and gentle Scott couldn''t stop himself from snapping.
"Why can''t it be done? The males are on the verge of breaking out of control.
More people are going to get hurt when that happens!
"The viruses in those males are contagious, and I refuse to believe that you haven''t found out about it.
"The people in your alliance who were wed and injured by the afflicted males are showing the same symptoms as the first batch, aren''t they?"
Scott didn''t get it at all. What the hell was Gideon hesitating for?
He asked, raising his voice, "What do you need for thestponent? Tell us!"
He stood next to Analise and looked at Gideon, who was standing across from them.
"It''s my blood." She gazed at Gideon with a grin. "Right?"
"Yes." Gideon couldn''t hold his tears back anymore. They slid down his cheeks, making her look even more haggard.
Analise had spoken softly, but they weighed heavy in Scott''s heart.
"What?" Turning around, he looked at her. At the next second, his words mirrored Gideon''s. "No! Is there no other way? Isn''t there anything else that could rece the keyponent?"
It finally dawned on Scott why Gideon asked if he could part with it and said that he couldn''t do it.
"I''m a pure human, and I have the Purication..." Analise caught herself and said, "And I have the strongest calming ability. My blood is undoubtedly the best choice."
She had guessed this would be the oue before Echo told her about it.
