To put it bluntly, Hector was just an underage male. He stood no chance against the intimidating demeanor that Scott possessed.
"So, the w marks on your body were partly self-inflicted, and the rest were from your third dad identally wing you when he was subduing you during your frenzy. Is that right?"
Analise let go of his wrist. "Can I see the injuries on you?"
"You..."
"Just the top half of your body. You''re still underage, and I don''t intend to tease someone like you," Analise said, giggling when she saw the conflicted look on his face.
Hector pursed his lips as if he was wrestling with himself. After a good while, he took off his clothes and revealed his fair yet scratched chest.
Analise frowned before walking around and checking on his back. There were plenty of w marks there, too. Now, even Scott''s eyebrows furrowed as he gazed at the young Hector.
At the end of the day, Hector was the youngest heir in the Khielson family. He might not have been a female, but he must have grown up being spoiled by people around him.
He sustained this many injuries, and yet the Khielsons didn''t make a fuss at all. Jamari''s men had truly kept their mouths shut.
"This exins why Vera said your injuries are serious." Analise''s gaze darkened.
Hector lowered his head, looking dejected. "I''m closest to her. Of course, she''s going to see my injuries. This time, we don''t have the medication to suppress the itch. Third Dad and the others had to bring me under control by force alone.
"So, we agreed we would tell everyone that it was the doing of the interster raiders. Otherwise, we wouldn''t be able to keep it on the down-low.
"I don''t know why, but the medication had ceased production, and we couldn''t buy
it anymore. That''s why I went into a frenzy more frequently as the day went by. We had no choice but to go on a trip whenever my body started to itch."
"More frequent? Are you saying that your frenzy doesn''tst very long and that you will eventually snap out of your frenzy, even if you didn''t drink the reagent?
"Recently, however, the duration became longer and longer. Is that what you''re saying?" Scott''s face grew grim.
Analise narrowed her eyes. "Has your third dad ever drunk the reagent The Reimers developed?"
"No." Hector shook his head. "The reagent is crazy expensive, and there was only one for sale back then. His mental essence is above S-grade to begin with. So, he gave it to me first."
"How did you guys know about the reagent in the first ce?" Scott asked again.
"Third Dad heard about it from the others. It?ust so happened that he overheard my conversation with my friend and learned that I hadn''t had luck with my mental essence''s breakthrough.
"So, he filled me in on the reagent," Hector answered truthfully.
"That proves it. He''s been used like ab rat." Analise smacked her palm in
realization. He was too naive.
Actually, it would
seem that
everyone who bought the reagent
back then was allb rats. What was
more, the medication that Hector
said could control his frenzy was
probably developed by The
Reimers as well.
It was just that Hector was oblivious to all of these. The old snake, Jamari,
must''ve taken advantage of him and screwed him over in an attempt to undermine the Khielson family.
The strange thing was that Jamari was Lily''s mate. Why would he treat her son this way?
Pinching her chin, Analise paced back and forth in the office. Scott shared the same thoughts with her after he heard the whole story. Hector was most probably used as ab rat.
"Don''t you think there''s anything suspicious about your third dad?" Analise asked as she tilted her head. Unbeknownst to Hector, she was standing next to him.
Hector shook his head in response.
She was at a loss for words.
"I''m willing to bet that your third dad
was the one who asked you to
instruct someone at the
containment facility to stop administering sedatives and
vel
inhibitors to Derek. Did I get it right?"
Analise rubbed her eyebrows.
"How do you know about this?" Hector gawked at her with a look of disbelief on his face.
Analise clicked her tongue in disapproval before turning her gaze to Scott. "He''s even more naive and gullible than Karl."
Karl, who was minding his own business at Ironhorn Alliance, sneezed several times in quick session.
