"What?" Analise and Fiy were shocked, but Scott was already digging the grave.
"Truly his mother''s pride and joy, isn''t he?" Analise thought. When she thought of the impostor female, however, she couldn''t help but get worried.
rice was a sentient half-robot female. So, what about the impostor female who resembled Scott''s mom? His mom had been dead for years now. She couldn''t have been dug up right after her death, could she?
"Scott, did you notice this hole thest time you came?" Analise stood aside and watched as they dug the grave up with their ws.
"No." Scott shook his head. "I came here during Mom''sst death anniversary, and it wasn''t here before."
Analise fell silent. About ten minutester, they unearthed the casket. Scott lifted the lid without any hesitation, but there was nothing in there. Aside from the clothes and stone headrest, the casket was entirely empty.
"It''s gone." Scott clenched his fists, and the veins on his hands popped up. "Mom''s remains are gone!"
Flesh would decay after death, but the big bones wouldn''t have disintegrated that easily. The eerie thing was that there was nothing in the casket-no skull, no femur, nothing at all.
"Analise, I''m sensing Ophir''s stench here. The casket is intact, which means Scott''s mom must''ve been removed or extracted from it via a unique method," Echo suddenly spoke up when Analise was wondering how best tofort Scott.
"It''s likely that Ophir gave Sean an item and thus provided him with the means to pull it off."
She thought back to how the impostor female was brought over after Sean made a gesture. That was all the clue she needed.
"It''s possible that your mom''s remains are stuck in the impostor female," Analise said gently.
"Sean..." Scott lowered his gaze, his expression turning as dark as coal.
"Sean''s soul is the only thing left in his body. We have no choice but to wait for the
other Sean to show up." Analise held his hand gently.
Without a suitable host, Ophir probably wouldn''t show itself on Interster therian world. Even if the opposite proved to be true, it knew about her and Echo''s existence, which meant it would be sneaky in its wicked work.
That would be the tricky part, though. After all, the Therian world was vast. Finding Ophir and the transmigrator, Sean, would be akin to finding a needle in a-sized haystack.
Scott hummed in response, closed the casket lid in silence, and refilled the grave.
Fiy helped him with it and packed the grave with dirt.
Scott remained quiet and didn''t say a single word throughout the entire drive.
Silence hung over them, and Fiy obediently held Analise''s hand without saying much.

away. Naturally, he was in no mood to bring Analise to his father. He had a strained rtionship with his father to begin with. Thetter would be driven mad with rage if he found out that her wife''s remains were stolen.
When they arrived at Hopkins Gxy Lodge, Scott instructed Fiy to help Analise with her bow practice. Then, he went to his office by himself.
Knowing that Scott was in a bad ce emotionally, she merely practiced a little before she made her way to his office and tried toe up with topics to distract him.
At the very least, she wanted to make him feel better. However, it didn''t work out well.
The next day, Hector arrived at Hopkins Gxy Lodge and went to the office just in time. As it happened, Analise was there, too.
"Are you Alvaro''s brother?" She sized up the young male standing in front of him.
He looked simr to Alvaro, albeit with a stiffer expression. Hence, he wasn''t as soft and adorable as Alvaro was. Instead, he looked a little mischievous and rebellious.
