Chapter 87

Analise didn''t feel the slightest bit awkward. She chatted with Scott and the other therians as casually as always.

    ...

The next day, the starship docked at the Stormw Alliance''s starship station.

To Analise''s surprise, Vera was already waiting there as if he''d known exactly when Analise would arrive.

Just as Analise was about to follow Scott and Fiy to the car, Vera rushed over.

"Wee back, Ms. Chamber." She handed Analise a bouquet of flowers with a bright smile.

"Thank you." Analise nodded and epted the flowers.

There were too many people at the starship station. If she rejected the gift, it might blow up into another strange trending topic on Cosmoseek.

Vera blinked sweetly and continued, "Ms. Chamber, aboutst time I really didn''t mean it. I acted impulsively. I figured posting an apology onlinecked sincerity, so I wanted to invite you to The Harmonique in the Stormw Alliance."

She then turned to Scott. "Scott, are youing too?"

"I have work to settle at Hopkins Gxy Lodge," Scott responded.

Although his tone remained warm, there was a hint of cool detachment in his voice.

"Fiy, you go with Ana," he added with quiet frustration. "I''ll send some people overter. After the meal, Ana can go walk around and explore a bit."

"Golden Street is quite a lively street. Ana, if there''s anything you want, just swipe my card." Scott handed Analise a ck card from his pocket.

Vera still wore her perfectly measured smile, not at all fazed by Scott''s cold tone. "Golden Street is much livelier than anywhere else in the city. I''ll take Ms. Chamber around."

"Alright then. I''ll have to trouble you with that, Ms. Khielson," Analise responded politely and got into the car.

Fiy sat in the front passenger seat while Analise and Vera sat together in the back.

"Ms. Chamber, you''re amazing! I didn''t expect you to be able to calm so many males at once." Vera clung to Analise''s arm with great admiration. "You''re the most impressive female I''ve ever met."

"You''re impressive too," Analise returned thepliment. "Your mind essence is SS-grade. I''m a little envious, honestly."

"R-Really?" Vera''s cheeks flushed with a rosy pink.

    "Of course." Analise nodded.

"Ms. Chamber, do you prefer sweet or spicy food? The food at The Harmonique is pretty good, and they offer all kinds of vors."

Vera then continued with a smile, "I just wonder if it''ll suit your tastes. I heard that pure human females tend to prefer vors from the human era."

"I''m fine with anything." Analise gave a polite smile.

    Let

However, in her mind, she was carefully evaluating Vera, trying figure out what exactly she was nning today. Analise hoped that

    everything would go smoothly.

"Really? Then our tastes are pretty simr. I like both sweet and spicy food too."

    Vera smiled, her eyes narrowing.

    "Mhm." Analise nodded.

Once Vera got going, she seemed more than happy to carry the conversation, keeping things lively.

However, that was only on Vera''s end. Analise still kept her guard up.

"Actually, used to like Scott quite a bit. But after you showed up, Ms. Chamber, I realized where I fell short I''m not as capable as you are. Just like females, males admire strength too.

"To be honest, when you first appeared, I didn''t understand why an F-Grade

    female would catch Scott''s eye.

Vera suddenly shifted the topic toward Scott.

"And now?" Analise blinked, caught off guard by the sudden confession.

Of course, with Fiy still in the car, she wasn''tpletely certain if Vera was being sincere or just putting on a show.

"Now?" Vera hesitated. She assumed Analise was asking about her current feelings for Scott.
