Chapter 605

Amara was silent for a moment before saying, "Thank you."

She had said those words to Finnian so many times.

Finnian had always been so attentive to her problems. Sometimes, she wished she could find a real, concrete way to thank him. But what could she possibly do for him? It seemed there was nothing she could offer, so all she could manage were a few awkward words of gratitude.

Finnian shook his head. "You don''t have to thank me." Then he asked, "With everything that''s happened, are you still going to marry Keith?"

As he spoke, his hand clenched slightly. His tone sounded casual, but if you listened closely, there was a hint of tension in his voice.

Amara walked over to the window and watched a bird flying outside. She kept her gaze on it until it became just a tiny ck speck in the distance, then finally looked away and shook her head.

With things as they were now, there was no way she could marry Keith-unless she publicly imed the baby was his. But she couldn''t do that. If she did, they would be tied together forever, and she would end up ruining his life.

Finnian''s eyes slowly dimmed, though he couldn''t help feeling a surge of joy in his heart.

She wasn''t going to marry Keith. He was genuinely happy about it... but at the same time, he felt deeply sorry for Amara.

After all, in this whole situation, Amara was the one who was hurt the most.

And she probably still had feelings for Keith.

Knowing she couldn''t marry him must have been painful for her. Finnian pressed his lips together in a thin line, wanting to offer her somefort, but the words just wouldn''te out.

When Amara returned to her room, she thought for a moment and called Keith to ask how things were going on his end.

Keith told her that after the news broke, many of his business partners had called to ask about the situation. He had exined everything to them, and had just gotten home.

    "Amara, we should make a

statement on Twitter together. If you want to keep the baby, you need to rify things. ything the

    You''re basically

public figure now, so it''s best not to let any rumors stick to your name. I''ll post with you."

Amara knew Keith was right. She couldn''t let things keep spiraling—the least she could do was exin herself and clear up any misunderstandings.

They discussed what to say, then hung up and each wrote their statements. They posted them on Twitter at the same time.

Amara posted. "Hello everyone, this is Amarise, the screenwriter. I want to rify something: I am indeed pregnant, and the baby is not Keith''s However, Keith has known about this from the start. There has never been any deceit between us. Please stop spreading rumors. Thank you."

Keith''s statement was even more direct: "To everyone online, please stop spreading rumors. Ama is pregnant, and the child is not mine, but I''ve known about this from the beginning. I''ve always supported her decision to keep the baby. Ama person of great character and integrity-she''s done nothing wrong. Please stop the malicious attacks against her. This is my official statement."

These two rifications quickly shot to the top of the trending list.

So, Amara hadn''t lied to Keith? He knew about her pregnancy and was still willing to

marry her? Was Keith really willing to take on such a burden?

The public was stunned. Twitter was in an uproar again, and their joint statements rapidly climbed to the number one spot on the trending topics.
